Answer:

The shear plane angle and shear strain are 28.21° and 2.155 respectively.

Explanation:

(a)

Orthogonal cutting is the cutting process in which cutting direction or cutting velocity is perpendicular to the cutting edge of the part surface.

Given:

Rake angle is 12°.

Chip thickness before cut is 0.32 mm.

Chip thickness is 0.65 mm.

Calculation:

Step1

Chip reduction ratio is calculated as follows:

r=\frac{t}{t_{c}}

r=\frac{0.32}{0.65}

r = 0.4923

Step2

Shear angle is calculated as follows:

tan\phi=\frac{rcos\alpha}{1-rsin\alpha}

Here, \phi is shear plane angle, r is chip reduction ratio and \alpha is rake angle.

Substitute all the values in the above equation as follows:

tan\phi=\frac{rcos\alpha}{1-rsin\alpha}

tan\phi=\frac{0.4923cos12^{\circ}}{1-0.4923sin12^{\circ}}

tan\phi=\frac{0.48155}{0.8976}

\phi=28.21^{\circ}

Thus, the shear plane angle is 28.21°.

(b)

Step3

Shears train is calculated as follows:

\gamma=cot\phi+tan(\phi-\alpha)

\gamma=cot28.21^{\circ}+tan(28.21^{\circ}-12^{\circ})\gamma = 2.155.

Thus, the shear strain rate is 2.155.

kenny6666 [7]

Answer: output value

Explanation: Supervised learning is the machine learning task of learning a function that maps an input to an output based on example input-output pairs.

Supervised learning infers a function from labeled training data consisting of a set of training examples.

In supervised learning, each example consists of a pair of an input object (a vector) and a desired output value (the supervisory signal). A supervised learning algorithm analyzes the training data and produces an inferred function, which can be used for mapping new examples. An optimal scenario will allow for the algorithm to correctly determine the class labels for unseen instances. This requires the learning algorithm to generalize from the training data to unseen situations in a "reasonable" way

A wide range of supervised learning algorithms are available, each having its own strengths and weaknesses.

You should now that, there is no single learning algorithm that works better than the other on all supervised learning problems

a(n) ? is an intentionally constructed, low-impedance electrically conductive path designed and intended to carry current during
tester [92]

A effective ground-fault current path  is an intentionally constructed, low-impedance electrically conductive path designed and intended to carry current during ground-fault conditions from the point of grounding on a wiring system to the electrical supply source.

<h3>Is earth an effective ground fault current path?</h3>
  • Sticking the wire in the ground is not sufficient since the earth is not thought to be a reliable ground-fault current channel.
  • The electrical system of a building or other structure is based on grounding.
  • To give a fault current a secure path to travel, grounding is used.
  • When installing switches, light fixtures, appliances, and receptacles, a complete ground route must be kept.
  • The undesired current flow trips circuit breakers or blows fuses in a system that is correctly grounded.
  • Through the use of a grounding bank, effective grounding maintains voltages within predetermined limits during a line-to-ground fault (short-circuit condition).

A supply fan is operating at 30000 cfm and 4 inch of water with an efficiency of 50%. (a) Calculate the fan power at the current
serg [7]

Answer:

The pressure and power of fan is 1.77 and 11.18 Hp respectively.

Explanation:

Given:

Discharge Q_{1}  = 30000 cfm

Pressure difference \Delta P = 4 inch

Efficiency \eta = 50\%

(A)

From the formula of fan power,

     P _{1}  = \frac{Q \Delta P}{6356 \eta}

     P_{1}  = \frac{30000 \times 4}{6356 \times 0.5}

     P_{1}  = 37.76 Hp

(B)

Fan power and pressure is given by,

We know that pressure difference is proportional to the square of discharge.

    \frac{\Delta p_{2} }{\Delta P_{1} } = (\frac{Q_{2} }{Q_{1} } ) ^{2}

   \Delta P_{2}  = (\frac{20000}{30000} ) \times 4

   \Delta P_{2} = 1.77

Fan power proportional to the cube of discharge.

       \frac{P_{2} }{P^{1} }  = (\frac{Q_{2} }{Q_{1} } )^{3}

       P_{2} =   \  (\frac{20000}{30000} ) ^{3} \times 37.76

       P_{2} = 11.18 Hp

Therefore, the pressure and power of fan is 1.77 and 11.18 Hp respectively.
