Answer: 2200 N

Let's break down the question into an equation.

F = (mass)(acceleration) = ma

m = 55 kg

Vi = 20 m/s

t = 0.5 s

Vf = 0 m/s (since she was put to rest)

a=(Vf-Vi)/t

a=(0-20)/5

a = 40 m/s^2 (decelerating)

F = ma = (55 kg)(40 m/s^2)

F = 2200 N

Hope I helped!

What happens when a colder drier air mass pushes against a warmer moister air mass
andrew-mc [135]
A cold<span> front </span>occurs when a cold air mass advances into a region occupied by a warm air mass<span>. If the boundary between the </span>cold<span> and </span>warm air masses<span> doesn't move, it is called a stationary front. This is due to the (usually) higher humidity in the </span>air<span> of </span>warm<span> fronts compared to that of </span>cold<span> fronts.

I need help with question two
zaharov [31]
I can't see numbers here, so here are all the answers:
1) the frequency is c/λ = 3e8/556e-9 = 5.39e14Hz
2) light travels at <span>299,792,458 m/s.  So in nanoseconds it's 0.299792458m.  This is about 1/3 of a meter which is about one foot.
3) length is L = ct = (</span>299,792,458 m/s)(6e-15) = 1.799e-6m or 1.799μm
