The term Big Bang defines that the Universe has expanded from the ancient hot and thick primary situation at some fixed time in the past.

Big Bang theory refers to the origin of the Universe. In the beginning, universe is very heavy and small hot ball of matter. It was a point no bigger than the head of a pin when all the things squished with each other and universe is expanded with huge explosion of energy. Due to expansion, it is cooled and results in the formation of Stars and galaxies. After sometime, atoms formed like helium and hydrogen.

Thus, statement (1), (3) and (4) is correct whereas statement (2) and (5) is incorrect.

Type the correct answer in the box. Express your answer to three significant figures. A balloon is filled with 0.250 mole of air
Setler79 [48]

Answer:

102.8 kPa.

Explanation:

 • We can use the general law of ideal gas: PV = nRT.

where, P is the pressure of the gas in atm (P = ??? atm).

V is the volume of the gas in L (V = 4000 mL = 6.23 L).

n is the no. of moles of the gas in mol (n = 0.25 mol).

R is the general gas constant (R = 0.0821 L.atm/mol.K),

T is the temperature of the gas in K (T = 35ºC + 273 = 308 K).

∴ P = nRT/V = (0.25 mol)(0.0821 L.atm/mol.K)(308 K)/(6.23 L) = 1.015 atm.

 • To convert to kPa:

multiply the pressure value by 101.325

∴ P = (1.0 atm)(101.325 kPa/1.0 atm) = 102.8 kPa.

What happens to a glass of sugar solution when sugar is added to it?
galina1969 [7]

Answer:

The molarity of the solution increases.

Explanation:

Molarity is the measure of the concentration of the solute in the solution. In this case, the solvent is the sugar solution and the solute is the sugar.

If sugar is ADDED to the already sugary solution, then there would be more sugar. Therefore, the sugar (solute) would increase in number.

This means that the answer is the third choice: The molarity of the solution increases.

The answer would not be the first or second choice because there isn't anything in the question that implies water. It just says sugar solution.

The answer is not the last choice because the sugar concentration does not decrease after you have added more sugar to it. It increases.
