Answer:1.33 times

Explanation:

Given

A takes 30 sec to complete each length

While B takes 40 sec to complete each length

Let L be the Length of Swimming pool Length

and V_a and V_b be the length of A & B

Thus after 5 minutes A traveled

x_a=\frac{L}{30}\times 5\times 60=10L

x_b=\frac{L}{40}\times 5\times 60=7.5L

so A is 2.5L units ahead of B

A has traveled 1.33 times than B in 5 mins

When an object in simple harmonic motion is at its maximum displacement, its____________ is also at a maximum.
Ivan

When an object in simple harmonic motion is at its maximum displacement, its acceleration is also at a maximum.

Reason: The speed is zero when the simple harmonic motion is at its maximum displacement, however, the acceleration is the rate of change of velocity. The velocity reverses the direction at that point therefore its rate of change is maximum at that moment. thus the acceleration is at its maximum at this point

What is hydrometer? Describe its use and any one type of hydrometer.
nexus9112 [7]

Answer:

An instrument for measuring the density of liquids.

Explanation:

A hydrometer is an instrument used to determine specific gravity. It operates based on the Archimedes principle that a solid body displaces its own weight within a liquid in which it floats. Hydrometers can be divided into two general classes: liquids heavier than water and liquids lighter than water.

Thermohydrometers is one type of hydrometer.

Verdich [7]

Answer:

The free body diagram is attached.

Explanation:

A force of 31[N] to the east, the second force goes to the south and it is equal to 28[N], the third force goes to the west and it is equal to 39 [N].

We can consider the crate as a particle. And all the forces are acting over the particle.
