Hello!! Clouds form when sunlight absorbs the water and then it is evaporated. When this happens, colder air has formed together along with water vapor molecules. Next, their thermal energy in the molecules allow to bind together quickly instead of break apart. After this, the water vapor molecules will turn into rain/snow and either fall/precipitate or go back to water vapor. It relates to the water cycle - evaporation, condensation, and precipitation. That is a basic answer. Hope this helps!! Have a great day.
