Answer:

C, or Hurricane.

Explanation:

While hurricanes have warm cores, hurricanes typically require moisture to form (they form on top of oceans), and winds carry air upwards into the atmosphere. Also, the lapse rate of a hurricane must be unstable around the eyewall to insure rising parcels of air will continue to rise and condense water vapor (aka the air is unstable). Thus, the answer is C.

netineya [11]

Answer:

Magnesium and Bromine

Explanation:

I just took the test, and Magnesium has 7 electrons and Bromine has 2 valance electrons making the transfer a lot easier. In the first choice, Krypton already has 8 valance electrons therefore it cannot transfer or accept any more which rules it out as a possible answer. Calcium has 2 valance electrons and Potassium has 1 meaning it couldn't make a full shell of 8 and cannot make a ionic bond. Iodine has 7 electrons as well as Chlorine which wouldn't be the answer because it would have more than 8 valance electrons.

The lowest surface temperature in the solar system (-200°c occurs on
zimovet [89]
The lowest surface temperature in the solar system was recorded on Uranus (-224 degrees Celsius). The temperature of a planet does not only depend on the amount of solar radiation that it receives but also on the amount of heat that it gives off. Because of Uranus' orientation it absorbs little radiation which makes it colder than Neptune although Neptune is further away from the Sun.
