A TMS (transcranial magnetic stimulation) device creates very rapidly changing magnetic fields. The field near a typical pulsed-
GrogVix [38]

Explanation:

It is given that, the field near a typical pulsed-field machine rises from 0 T to 2.5 T in 200 μs

Change in magnetic field, dB=2.5\ T

Change in time, dt=200\ \mu s=200\times 10^{-6}\ s=2\times 10^{-4}\ s

Diameter, d = 2.3 cm

Radius, r = 0.0115 m

Emf is induced in the ring as the field changes. It is given by :

E=\dfrac{d\phi}{dt}

E=\dfrac{d(B.A\ cos(0))}{dt}

E=A\dfrac{d(B)}{dt}

E=\pi (0.0115)^2\dfrac{2.5}{2\times 10^{-4}}

E = 5.19 volts

So, the emf induced in the ring is 5.19 volts. Hence, this is the required solution.

velikii [3]

Answer:

Teh velocity of ball with respect to the ground is 29.2 m/s.

Explanation:

Velocity of car, vc = 25 due m/s east

velocity of ball with respect to car, v(b,c) = 15 m/s due Z axis

Write the velocities in the vector form

\overrightarrow{v}_{c}=25 \widehat{i}\\\\\overrightarrow{v}_{(b,c)}=15 \widehat{k}

The velocity of ball with respect to ground is

\overrightarrow{v}_{(b,c)}= \overrightarrow{v}_{(b,g)}-\overrightarrow{v}_{(c,g)}\\\\15 \widehat{k} = \overrightarrow{v}_{(b,g)} - 25 \widehat{i}\\\\\overrightarrow{v}_{(b,g)} = 25 \widehat{i} + 15 \widehat{k}\\\\v_{(b,g)}=\sqrt{25^2 + 15^2}=29.2 m/s

Mekhanik [1.2K]
<span>False. Water is the best and the only hydrating property that should be consumed prior to any exercise. Gatorade is good to take while doing exercise or after to give you a boost of energy but should never be consumed excessively. These drinks can increase your heart rate and in my opinion are no substitute for water.</span>
