Answer:

Add water to the lemon juice to dilute it.

Explanation:

pH value is the measure of alkalinity or acidity of a substance. The pH scale range from 0-14 . The lower the pH value the higher the acidity while the higher the pH value the higher the alkalinity. This simply means on the pH scale , if the pH value is 7 it depicts neutrality. 7 upwards indicates an increasing alkalinity while 7 downwards indicates an increasing acidity.

Acidic substance possess an hydrogen ion (H+) while alkaline substance possess more of hydroxide ions(OH-).

The pH value of lemon juice is usually low at a rate of 2 to 4 pH value . That simply means lemon juice is acidic and contains more hydrogen ions. The best option to increase the pH value of 2 is adding water molecule to neutralize it acidity content.

Adding water molecules(H20) will decrease the acidity and reduce the hydrogen ions that contributes to lemon's juice acidity and invariably increase it pH value.

Misha Larkins [42]
Your answer would be,
Molarity = moles of solute/volume of solution we needed, 29.22(g)(mol) of NaCI

= 29.22(g)/58.44(g)(mol^-1)(1)/1(L)
= 0.500(mol)(L^-1)

Hope that helps!!!
