Base SI unit is the unit that used for simple quantity like time=second and length= meter. They only have one unit.
Derived unit is more complex because you multiply or divide at least two base SI, making it have more than 1 unit. The example could be velocity which was time/length = m/s

valentinak56 [21]

Answer: Alfred Wegener provided some of the important points that supported the theory of continental drift. They are as follows-

  1. The continents were once all attached together, and this can be proved by studying the coastlines of some of the continents that perfectly matches with one another.
  2. The appearance of similar rock types and similar fossils (including both animals and plants) has also contributed much information that continents were once all together.

How to calculate the velocity? the answer is 5.4 m/s I need the explication
Vanyuwa [196]

Answer: sq. root of .735

Explanation:

multiply two on both sides.

(2) *2,94 = (0,200 * v^2) (2)

588 = 0400 * 2v^2

divide by 400 on both sides

1.47 = 2v^2

divide by 2 on both sides

.735 = v^2

take square root of both sides

\sqrt{.735)  or .85732141
