(H+)(OH-) = Kw
kw=  1 x10^-14
OH-=  1   x10 ^-11
(H+)=  KW / OH-

concentration   of H+  = (1x10^-14) /.(1  x 10 ^-11)   =  1  x10  ^-3

Ph=  -log (H+)

PH=-log (  1  x  10  ^-3)  =  3  therefore  the    solution  is  acidic  since  the  PH   less than  7

What is the empirical formula for the following molecular formula: C10H5O2
Tju [1.3M]

The empirical formula is the same as the molecular formula : C₁₀H₅O₂

Further explanation

Given

Molecular formula : C₁₀H₅O₂

Required

The empirical formula

Solution

The empirical formula (EF) is the smallest comparison of atoms of compound forming elements.

The molecular formula (MF) is a formula that shows the number of atomic elements that make up a compound.

(empirical formula) n = molecular formula

(EF)n=MF

(EF)n = C₁₀H₅O₂

If we divide by the number of moles of Oxygen (the smallest) which is 2 then the moles of Hydrogen will be a decimal number (not whole), which is 2.5, then the empirical formula is the same as the molecular formula

Describe why it is important that scientific experiments be repeated
defon

Answer:

Scientific experiments need to be repeated so that scientists can make sure the results are as accurate as possible.

Explanation:

The point of a scientific experiment is to find the answer to a question. If a scientist performs an experiment only one time, they might find an answer to their question. However, they might have messed something up, so the answer is completely wrong. Doing an experiment momre than once can help a scientist make sure that their answer is correct. I hope this helps!
