Answer:

One of the parts of the tree is its roots, this serves as the anchorage of the tree to the ground, this also lessen the erosion of both the soils and other solid components of the ground (e.g. rocks, etc). The presence of soil, rocks, etc will hold the water in place longer.

Tree's are vital to the eco-system, they clean the air of co2 which is important for the air and water. Tree's also stop erosion and that is an important step in keeping our water clean. Tree's filter water up through the soil with their extensive root system, making for clean water.

A kilogram is a unit of mass and when multiplied by meters per second
amm1812

Answer:

it yields a derived unit known as Newton, which is the unit of Force.

Explanation:

The formula for force is given by Newton's Second Law, which states that whenever an unbalanced force is applied to a body, it produces an acceleration in the body in the direction of force.

F = ma\\

where, F = Force

m = mass

a = acceleration

Now, we substitute the respective S.I units of each quantity in equation:

F = Newton (N)

m = kilogram (kg)

a = acceleration = m/s²

Therefore,

N = (kg)(m/s^2)

So, it is clear from above expression that:

When kilogram is multiplied by meter per second squared, it yields a derived unit known as Newton, which is the unit of Force.

What is the purpose of setting a deadline for your goal
Nutka1998 [239]

Well, when you want to accomplish a goal, you can't take forever to do it now can you? No. The purpose of setting a deadline for your goal is for motivation. You become motivated to do it, instead of putting it off for later. You want to get it done in a reasonable amount of time.

Answer:

Microwave: Radiation

Water: Conduction, convection & radiation.

Explanation:

 • When we heat a food using microwave then the water content of the food is only heated by the microwave.
 • Microwaves make the molecules of water vibrate frequently with a frequency closer to the frequency of microwaves and this increases the kinetic energy of the molecules which produces heat in the water molecules this heat then propagates to the whole food by conduction and convection, but the heat enters the food only via radiation.

Now when the food item is kept into warm water then the molecules closer to the food heat the food by conduction through direct energy transfer by lattice vibrations and when they become cooler than the mass of water all around then due to density difference they settle down and their place is occupied by warmer molecules around in the fluid leading to convection.

Radiation of energy from a mass occurs continuously irrespective of the medium present there. So the heat of water also enters the food by radiation of energy from the water molecules.
