There is increasing evidence that the relatively large amounts of salt, fat, and sugar found in convenience and processed foods

not only enhances their flavor, but also encourages overeating and puts consumers at risk for diseases like obesity and diabetes. In view of these considerations, should public-health and other officials issue laws and regulations limiting the size and content of these foods?

Answer:

Explanation:

Yes, the public health and other officials must take some initiative to cut down the excess content of calories in the processed food items. Laws must be imposed on those food factories to limit the content of salts, fats and sugars in the food items. As these salts, sugars and fats are deteriorating the diet. Due to the good taste of these processed items people do not take care about the health ailments such as increase in cholesterol, fats and blood sugar levels in the food. Thus problems like obesity and diabetes develop in these people.

What steps can an individual take to maintain a healthy body weight? Select three options.
lianna [129]

Answer:

Maintaining a healthy body weight is not too hard and neither it is too easy.

It is very important to maintain a healthy diet that consists of balanced proportions of vegetable, fruits and protein.

In addition, it is essential to exercise every single day for a set amount of time to stay active and healthy.  otherwise the body will get used to no work and the food will add to gaining weight instead of balancing it with exercise.
