A double displacement reaction is one in which the positive and negative ion in one reactant switch places with the positive and negative ions of the second reactant forming two new products.

In general if we have two reactants AB and CD, the double displacement reaction can form the following products:

A⁺B⁻ + C⁺D⁻ → C⁺B⁻ + A⁺D⁻

In the given example:

K₂SO₄ + Pb(NO₃)₂ → PbSO₄ + 2KNO₃

Ans: B)

One of the products would be PbSO₄

A squirrel ran 20 meters along the fence at a constant speed for 10
Black_prince [1.1K]

Answer:

It's D

Explanation:

Sorry for the late answer. Since the squirrel ran constant speed for 10 seconds and it ran 20 meters the first point would be at (10,20) then since it stopped to rest for 15 seconds the next point would be (25,20) finally since it ran another 30 meters for 15 more seconds the next point would be at (40,50). Sorry if the answer isn't the best, i'm bad at explaining ;w;

Theoretically, how many moles of carbonic acid will be produced by 3.00 g sample of NaHCO3?
Kryger [21]
NaHCO3 = 22.99 + 1.008 + 16(3) = 83.99 g/mol

Na = 22.99g/83.99 g weight of molecule =.2727 or 27.27%

3.0 g* .2727 = 0.8211 grams of sodium in sample of NaHCO3

0.8211 grams Na + 1.266 grams Cl = 2.087 grams

Which best characterizes a crystal
Pachacha [2.7K]

Answer;

A dense substance that is hard and incompressible

Explanation;

 • Crystals are solids that are made up of particles such as molecules, atoms or ions, which are arrange in a highly ordered microscopic structure, forming a crystal lattice which extends in all directions.
 • Examples of crystals include quartz, that is made up of silicon (iV) oxide molecules that are arranged in a lattice,table salt is another example that is made up of sodium and chloride ions that are arranged in a lattice
 • Crystals are very ordered, they may be made up of atoms of the same elements or atoms of different elements such as in the case of table salt.
