If you were creating a lamp by hand what type of material would you chose for the wiring and what material would you chose to co

Well since I don't have access to a high vacuum pump or good glassblowing equipment I would say wiring would be cotton thread and the coating would be carbon, ideally with a high vaccum pump and glassblowing equipment I'd say platinum wire with a resistive coating to prevent the platinum from getting to hot but would keep it incandescent for a very long time.
