Why does Doug need to adjust his workouts when they seem too easy?

Doug needs to change the exercises he is doing. Your body begins to become accustomed to what you do, and if you do the same thing every single time - you will stop making progress, and they'll simply become easy.

However, if you walk into the gym and your body is expecting you to just go over and bench press some, go rock some curls, head over to the squat rack then go home - but instead you start out with some dips, then go do lunges, then attack your triceps instead of biceps, your body will be shocked!

When you change it up, your body will react. The goal is to be comfortable being uncomfortable. Also, one of the most overlooked things in working out is the intensity. If you bring it everything you got and go to the last gut wretching rep, you'll see results.

However, if you just leisurely do things with 4 minute rests in between - you won't see true progress.

Hopefully, this helps! =)

One student made the incomplete diagram shown below to represent the relationship between igneous rocks, sediments, sedimentary
Kryger [21]

Answer: Option (C)

Explanation: Rock cycle plays an important role in the alteration of rocks from one form to another.

 1. Igneous rocks when undergoes high temperature and pressure condition, it transforms into a metamorphic rock.
 2. Sedimentary rocks are formed from the sedimentation and consolidation of sediments
 3. Igneous rocks are formed due to the crystallization of magma.

Hence the correct answer is option (C)

Sometimes my music is played value can feel your body shaking explain what is happening in terms of resonance?
Jet001 [13]

Answer:

If you are standing next to loud music you will feel yourself vibrating because resonance happens. When an object vibrating at or near the resonant frequency of a second object then it causes the second object to vibrate. This phenomenon is called resonance.

A pelican flying along a horizontal path drops a fish from a height of 5.4 m. The fish travels 8.0 m horizontally before it hits
umka2103 [35]

Answer:

Speed, Vfx = 7.619 m/s

Explanation:

Vertical distance, Dx = 5.4m

Horizontal distance, Dy = 8m

Acceleration due to gravity, g = 9.8m/s²

Initial speed, Vix = 0m/s²

To find the speed, we would use the second equation of motion to find the time, t;

Dx = Vixt + ½gt²

Substituting into the equation, we have;

5.4 = 0(t) + ½(9.8)*t²

5.4 = 0 + 4.9t²

Rearranging the equation, we have;

4.9t² = 5.4

t² = 5.4/4.9

t² = 1.1020

Taking the square root of both sides;

t = 1.050 secs.

For the speed;

Dy = Vfxt

Vfx = Dy/t

Vfx = 8/1.050

Vfx = 7.619 m/s

Therefore, the speed of the pelican is 7.619 m/s

What is its speed after 3. 83 as if it accelerates uniformly at −3. 04 m/s 2 ? answer in units of m/s.
weeeeeb [17]

The velocity equation is v_{final} =v_{initial} +at\\

Known facts:

 • t = 3.83s
 • a= -3.04
 • intial velocity = 0

Plug into equation known quantities:

 v_{final} = (-3.04) * 3.83 = -11.6432m/s

Thus the final velocity is -11.6432m/s

Hope that helps!

Help wanted on this question.
Shalnov [3]
The answer is "positive" because a vector can be represented by an arrow. An arrow or "vector" can be denoted by drawing the size of the arrow in proportion to the magnitude of the vector. The positive and negative are designated for direction...

Good luck -Abi :)
