PLZ ANSWER ASAP IF YOU KNOW THIS...At the county fair, Carrie and Sam climbed up on the carousel horses. Around and around they

went; the horses also bobbed up and down. When they got off of the carousel, Carrie told Sam they had been accelerating during their ride. Sam disagreed; they had been moving at a constant speed. Whose response is fully correct, and why?
A) Carrie is, because the carousel changed speed when it started and stopped. B) Sam is, because the horses never moved from their position on the carousel. C) Carrie is, because velocity includes speed plus direction, and both changed. D) Sam is, they did not accelerate since their speed remained constant for the ride.

Calculate Anna's weight in newtons on Earth. (G=9.8 m/s2) Must include unit with your answer, what is it?
Pavlova-9 [17]

We know from that other question that her mass is 60 kg, and

Weight = (mass) x (gravity)

Earth weight = (60 kg) x (9.8 m/s^2)

Weight = 588 Newtons

How are scientists able to measure the age of earth?
RoseWind [281]

Explanation:

Through the uranium-lead dating, you can establish the age of rocks that formed from 1 million years ago to 4.5 billion years with enough precision. Dating meteorites using this method, It is possible to establish the age of the earth, since these are pieces that are present since the formation of the solar system, so they are approximately the same age as the Earth.

A bowling pin is thrown vertically upward such that it rotates as it moves through the air, as shown in the figure. Initially, t
zheka24 [161]

Answer:

Explanation:

In projectile, the formula for calculating the maximum height reached by the pin is expressed as;

H = u²/2g

u is the speed/velocity = 10m/s

g is the acceleration due to gravity = 9.81m/s²

Substitute

H = 10²/2(9.81)

H = 100/19.62

H = 5.097m

Hence the maximum height of the center of mass of the bowling pin is most nearly 5.0m
