How does the velocity, the distance it has fallen and the acceleration of a free falling body change with time?

The acceleration a free falling body experiences due to gravity will always remain the same. It will always be -9.8 m/s^2.

Thus, the downward velocity of the body will always be increasing (or decreasing, however you want to think about it) because gravity is acting upon it.

The distance the body has fallen will increase faster and faster over time because its velocity is increasing.

What is limiting friction
Fantom [35]

Answer:

Explanation:

As you start increasing the force on an object from 0 N it the object will stay at rest and at a certain magnitude of force the object will start moving. The friction acting on that object is known as limiting frictional force. The magnitude of this frictional force is equal to the force that we apply on the object as it just start to move.

It's important to note that the limiting frictional force is the largest frictional force act on that object in the above explained process. The dynamic frictional force ( the frictional force acting on an moving object.) is always less than the limiting frictional force.

In a Young's double-slit experiment, light of wavelength 500 nm illuminates two slits which are separated by 1 mm. The separatio
liubo4ka [24]

Answer:

The  value is  y  = 0.0025 \  m

Explanation:

From the question we are told that

   The  wavelength is  \lambda  =  500 \ nm

    The distance of separation is  d =  1\  mm  =  0.001 \ m

   The  distance from the screen is  D  =  5 \ m

Generally the separation between the adjacent bright fringe is mathematically represented as

       y  = \frac{D  *  \lambda }{ d}

=>    y  =  \frac{5 *  500 *10^{-9}}{0.001}

=>    y  = 0.0025 \  m
