I think that the wavelengths of an incoming solar radiation are shorter than the wavelengths of reradiated heat. This is because the incoming solar radiation to the surface of the earth is in the utraviolet (short) to near infrared (long) wavelength bands. After absorption has taken place, surfaces reradiate heat energy back to the atmosphere at long wavelength infrared.

A dish shaped large muscle which moves up and down when there is contraction and expansion of lungs is the diaphragm which is present between the chest cavity and lower abdominal region. The action of the diaphragm is affected by an inflammation occurring below the muscular disc which will affect the process of breathing. The forceful breathing may result in strain and stress in the back muscles of the human body. This in turn causes pain in the shoulder.

The volume of 1 kg of helium in a piston-cylinder device is initially 5 m3. Now helium is compressed to 2 m3 while its pressure
yuradex [85]

Answer:

-540 kJ

Explanation:

P = Pressure which is applied to the piston = 180 kPa

V_2 = Final volume = 2 m³

V_1 = Initial volume = 5 m³

Work done is given by

W=P\Delta V\\\Rightarrow W=P(V_2-V_1)\\\Rightarrow W=180000(2-5)\\\Rightarrow W=180000\times -3\\\Rightarrow W=-540000\ J\\\Rightarrow W=-540\ kJ

The work required to compress helium is -540 kJ
