De Broglie's wave equation describes that particles have wave properties. The equation is
    λ = h/mv

Where λ  is the wave length of the particle (m), h is the Planck's constant (6.62607 x 10⁻³⁴J s), m is the mass of a particle (kg) and v is the velocity (m/s).

λ = ?
h =  6.62607 x 10⁻³⁴<span> J s
m =200 g = 0.2 kg
v = 20 m/s

</span>By substitution,
    λ  = 6.62607 x 10⁻³⁴ J s / (0.2 kg x 20 m/s)
    λ  = 1.66 x 10⁻³⁴ m

Hence, the wavelength of the 200 g ball 1.66 x 10⁻³⁴ m.

If 0.905 mol Al2O3 is produced in the reaction, what mass of Fe in product's
Marrrta [24]

<u>Answer:</u> Amount of iron produced is 101.36 grams.

<u>Explanation:</u>

For the reaction of aluminium and iron oxide, the equation follows:

2Al+Fe_2O_3\rightarrow Al_2O_3+2Fe

By Stoichiometry of the reaction,

When 1 mole of aluminium oxide is produced, then 2 moles of iron is also produced.

So, when 0.905 moles of aluminium oxide is produced, then \frac{ 2}{1}\times 0.905mol=1.81moles of iron is also produced.

Now, to calculate the amount of iron produced, we use the equation:

\text{Number of moles}=\frac{\text{Given mass}}{\text{Molar mass}}

Molar mass of iron = 56 g/mol

Moles of iron = 1.81 moles

Putting values in above equation, we get:

1.81mol=\frac{\text{Mass of iron}}{56g/mol}\\\\\text{Mass of iron produced}=101.36g

Hence, amount of iron produced is 101.36 grams.

A compound is made up of only iron and oxygen. The ratio of iron ions to oxide ions is 2:3 in compound. The IUPAC name for this
Sergeu [11.5K]

Answer: iron (iii) oxide, Fe2O3.

Explanation: we must calculate the oxidation state of Fe in Fe2O3

Fe2O3 = 0

2Fe + 3(-2) = 0

2Fe — 6 = 0

2Fe = 6

Fe = 6 /2 = 3

So the oxidation state of Fe in Fe2O3 is +3

So the name of the compound is iron (iii) oxide

What was the original volume of a gas if heating it from 22k to 85k produced a volume of 3.8 liters?
mel-nik [20]

Answer: the original volume was 0.98L

Explanation:

V1 =?

T1 = 22k

V2 = 3.8L

T2 = 85k

V1 /T1 = V2 /T2

VI/22 = 3.8/85

V1 = 22 x (3.8/85)

V1 = 0.98L
