Camels lose less water through their urine and feces than many other mammals. Their kidneys concentrate water heavily, leading to salty urine. The intestines also reabsorb water from intestinal material as it is digested, so dry feces are produced.

Answer:

 (V) 1s 2 2s 2 2p 6 3s 2 3p 5

Explanation:

Electron Affinity can be defined as the energy associated with a neutral atom, when an electron is added to form a negative ion.

1s 2 2s 2 2p 6 3s 2 3p 5 , is the electronic configuration of Chlorine.

The electron affinity is positive because it is an exorthermic reaction, meaning that, energy was released during the addition of an electron to the atom.

Solid Magnesium reacts with a Iron (II) Chloride solution ->
photoshop1234 [79]

Answer:

Magnesium + iron chloride   →    iron + magnesium chloride

Explanation:

It is the single replacement reaction.

Single replacement:

It is the reaction in which one elements replace the other element in compound.

AB + C → AC + B

Molecular equation:

Magnesium + iron chloride   →    iron + magnesium chloride

Chemical equation:

Mg(s)  + FeCl₂(aq)       →     MgCl₂(aq) + Fe(s)

Ionic equation:

Mg(s)  + Fe²⁺(aq) + 2Cl⁻(aq)       →     Mg²⁺(aq) + 2Cl⁻(aq) + Fe(s)

Net ionic equation:

Mg(s) + Fe²⁺(aq)      →   Fe(s) + Mg²⁺(aq)

A sample of carbon-12 has a mass of 6.00 g. How many atoms of carbon-12 are in the sample?
Vesna [10]
Convert grams to moles [grams/molar mass] ~ Moles
Convert moles to atoms [moles * 6.02 x 10^23] = Atoms
Half of 6.02 x 10^23 is 3.01 x 10^23 so here is our answer.
