Answer:

34.45m

Explanation:

Using the equation of motion formula v² = u²+2as to get the distance travelled

v is the final velocity = 26m/s

u is the initial velocity = 0m/s

a is the acceleration due to gravity = 9.81m/s²

S is the distance travelled

Substituting the given values into the formula;

26² = 0²+2(9.81)s

676 = 0 + 19.62s

19.62s = 676

s = 676/19.62

s = 34.45m

Hence the distance she would travel during the race is 34.45m

compare 51.5 hectograms to 51500 decigrams. How do each of these values compare to a gram, and which represents a larger mass?
Olin [163]
These values when compared seem to be the same. They are equal. If we convert them to the same units, they results to the value which is:

51.5 Hectograms = 5100 Grams

51,500 Decigrams = 5100 Grams

Hope this answers the question. Have  a nice day.

A rectangular block measures 4.1cm by 2.8cm by 2.1cm. calculate its volume given you answer to an appropriate number of signific
sattari [20]

Answer:

Volume =  24 cm^3

Explanation:

We recall that the volume of the box is calculated via the formula:

Volume = length * height * width

and that in a product, the number of significant figures for the result should coincide with the number of significant figures of the factor that has the least of them.

In this case, all measures have the same number of significant figures: two. so we calculate the product, and then limit the answer value to exactly two significant figures:

Volume = 4.1 cm * 2.8 cm * 2.1 cm = 24.108 cm^3, which must be rounded to two significant figures as: 24 cm^3

Given the following steps: 1. voltage gated potassium channels close; 2. threshold; 3. undershoot; 4. stimulus channels open; 5.
yanalaym [24]

Answer:

Answer:

4, 2, 5, 3, 1

Explanation:

The neuron remains at RMP unless stimulated. The stimulus results in opening of stimulus channels, this causes depolarization. if the extent of depolarization reaches to the level of threshold, the sodium and potassium channels begin opening but potassium channels are slow to open. Hence at first sodium goes out causing further depolarization until it reaches the peak at which the potassium channels open and the sodium channels close. This causes the potassium to rush our causing repolarization i.e. return of the membrane potential to RMP but the potassium channels are slow to close and it leads to hyperpolarization (undershoot) making the membrane potential more negative due to excessive movement of potassium outside the cell. Once the potassium channels close, the leak channels and Na K pump acts to return the potential to RMP.
