Answer:

hey D!

Explanation:

D. Lateralization

The brain is divided into two halves, called hemispheres. There is evidence that each brain hemisphere has its own distinct functions, a phenomenon referred to as lateralization. The left hemisphere appears to dominate the functions of speech, language processing and comprehension, and logical reasoning, while the right is moredominant in spatial tasks like vision-independent object recognition (such as identifying an object by touch or another nonvisual sense). However, it is easy to exaggerate the differences between the functions of the left and right hemispheres; both hemispheres are involved with most processes. Additionally, neuroplasticity (the ability of a brain to adapt to experience) enables the brain to compensate for damage to one hemisphere by taking on extra functions in the other half, especially in young brains.

Which radioisotope is used in dating geological formations?i-131u-238ca-37fr-220?
Nostrana [21]
The radioisotope U-238 is primarily used in dating geologic formation. This method is used for dating sediments from either a marine or playa lake environment. Because this method is used for the period between 100,000 years and 1,200,000 years before the present, it aids in bridging the gap between the carbon-14 dating method and the potassium-argon dating method.

White phosphorous has the chemical formula p4(s). a p4 molecule has 20 valence electrons. draw a lewis formula for a white phosp
aev [14]
The Lewis structure of P₄ is shown in 3-D form. The two bottom corner P atoms are facing right in front of us, one P atom behind the two, and one P above it. Each line represents 2 electrons. When you add the lone electrons, you get a total of 20 valence electrons.

Formal charge of each P:  5 - (2 +1/2*6) = 0

How does the abundance of various isotopes affect the atomic mass?
eduard

solution:

The quoted atomic mass on the Periodic Table is the WEIGHTED average of the individual isotopic masses. The higher the isotopic percentage, the MORE that isotope will contribute to the isotopic mass. For this reason, most masses that are quoted on the Table are non-integral.

By way of example we could look to the hydrogen atom. The VAST majority of hydrogen atoms (in this universe) are the protium isotope. i.e. 1H, whose nuclei contain JUST the defining proton. There is a smaller percentage (>1%) of hydrogen atoms WITH one NEUTRON in their nuclei to give the deuterium isotope. i.e. 2H, and because this is relatively cheap, and easily incorporated into a molecule, deuterium labelling is routinely used in analysis.

And there is even a smaller percentage of hydrogen atoms with TWO NEUTRONS in their nuclei, to give the tritium isotope. i.e. 3H. The weighted average of the isotopic percentages gives 1.00794⋅g⋅mol^{−1}

If we find that there is a linear correlation between the concentration of carbon dioxide in our atmosphere and the global temp
loris [4]

Answer:

A

Explanation:

A linear correlation means the increase in one variable cause an increase in the other variable. In a graph, the linear correlation can be demonstrated by a right-slanted straight diagonal line. Therefore if an increase in carbon dioxide causes a directly proportional increase in global temperatures then the two are correlated.
