'Ampere' is the unit of current.  That's the rate at which
electrons travel in the circuit ... the number of electrons
every second.  If you wanted the actual amount or number
of electrons, you'd need to know the length of time too.

It doesn't matter whether we're talking about a parallel or
series circuit.

if two point charges are separated by 1.5 cm and have charge values of 2.0 and -4.0, respectively, what is the value of the mutu
RUDIKE [14]

Complete question:

if two point charges are separated by 1.5 cm and have charge values of +2.0 and -4.0 μC, respectively, what is the value of the mutual force between them.

Answer:

The mutual force between the two point charges is 319.64 N

Explanation:

Given;

distance between the two point charges, r = 1.5 cm = 1.5 x 10⁻² m

value of the charges, q₁ and q₂ = 2 μC and - μ4 C

Apply Coulomb's law;

F = \frac{k|q_1||q_2|}{r^2}

where;

F is the force of attraction between the two charges

|q₁| and |q₂| are the magnitude of the two charges

r is the distance between the two charges

k is Coulomb's constant = 8.99 x 10⁹ Nm²/C²

F = \frac{k|q_1||q_2|}{r^2} \\\\F = \frac{8.99*10^9 *4*10^{-6}*2*10^{-6}}{(1.5*10^{-2})^2} \\\\F = 319.64 \ N

Therefore, the mutual force between the two point charges is 319.64 N

If an impulse of 400 Ns acts on an object for 15s, what is the force of the object?
Ksju [112]

Answer:

J for impulse

t for time

F for force

formula is J=F×t

Explanation:

putting values in eqs after rearranging

we need to find force so

F=J ÷t

F=400÷15

=26.67

=27(rounded off)

27N is the Force applied.

As the pendulum swings through the origin, it has a speed of v0 = 1.1 m/s. If the mass on the end of the pendulum is 15 g, and t
serg [7]

Answer:

1: 6.18 cm

2: 52.5609 degrees

Explanation:

We have the pendulum speed at the origin, and in that moment, all energy is kinetic, so we can calculate the pendulum energy by:

Ec = 0.5*m*v^2 = 0.5*0.015*1.1^2 = 0.0091 J

Now with that energy, we can calculate the height the pendulum will reach, as in that moment, the kinetic energy is totally converted to gravitational potencial energy:

Eg = m*g*h = 0.0091

0.015 * 9.81 * h = 0.0091

h = 0.0091 / (0.015 * 9.81 ) = 0.0618 m = 6.18 cm

Looking at the image attached, we can see that the pendulum will form a triangle, and one of the cathetus will be the length of the pendulum minus the height it went up, and the hypotenusa will be the pendulum length.

So, we know that the sine of the angle will be the division between the opposite cathetus and the hypotenusa:

sin(angle) = (30-6.18)/30 = 23.82/30 = 0.794 -> angle = 52.5609 degrees
