Formula for moles to grams is n=m/mm; moles is= mass divided by molar mass. molar mass if found under the chemical symbol of the chemical in the periodic table. For chlorine the molar mass is 35.453. so you would do 200/35.453 to get the moles which is 5.64 moles. however i would double check if the chemical is Cl or Cl2 because if chlorine is in its gas phase it usually diatomic (Cl2) in which case you wouldd just double the moles mass

A cell has a standard emf of + 0.135 v at 298 k. part a what is the value of the equilibrium constant for the cell reaction if n
Irina-Kira [14]
To look for the value of the equilibrium constant for the cell where n=1, it is computed by:
Eo = RT / nF * ln(K)
(Eo * nF) /RT = ln(K)
(0.135 * 1mol* e- * 9.65E4C/mol*e) / (8.314J / molK * 298K) = ln(K)
10.52 = lnK
e^10.52 = e ^ lnK
K = e ^263/25
K = 37049.12 is the answer.

An irregularly shaped piece of magnesium with a mass of 11.81 g was dropped into a graduated cylinder partially filled with wate
dlinn [17]

Answer:

The answer is

1.74 g/mL

Explanation:

The density of a substance can be found by using the formula

density = \frac{mass}{volume} \\

From the question

mass of magnesium = 11.81 g

volume = 6.80 mL

The density of the metal is

density = \frac{11.81}{6.80} \\ = 1.73676470...

We have the final answer as

1.74 g/mL

Hope this helps you

How many Signifact figures does 0.000300
Deffense [45]

Answer:

3 significant digits

Explanation:

The first 0 don't count (that's the rule in significant digits). So 3,0,0 are left over. Count them and total will be 3 significant digits. (remember the last zero count if there is a decimal but the first zeros doesn't count even with the decimals)
