Formula for moles to grams is n=m/mm; moles is= mass divided by molar mass. molar mass if found under the chemical symbol of the chemical in the periodic table. For chlorine the molar mass is 35.453. so you would do 200/35.453 to get the moles which is 5.64 moles. however i would double check if the chemical is Cl or Cl2 because if chlorine is in its gas phase it usually diatomic (Cl2) in which case you wouldd just double the moles mass

Rank the following atoms in order of increasing electronegativity.a. Se, O, S b. P, Na, Cl c. Cl, S, F d. O, P, N
Papessa [141]

Answer:

a)- Se, S, O

b)- Na, P, Cl

c)- S, Cl, F

d)- P, N, O

Explanation:

We can solve this problem by looking at the Periodic Table. In a group, electronegativity increases from bottom to top; whereas in periods it increases from left to right.

Thus, we order the elements from lower to higher electronegativity as follows:

a. Se, O, S ⇒ order: Se, S, O

Because they are all in the same group. Se is near the bottom, followed by S and O is at the top.

b. P, Na, Cl ⇒ order: Na, P, Cl

They are in the same period. Na is at the left, followed by P and Cl is nearest the right.

c. Cl, S, F ⇒ order: S, Cl, F

P and Cl are in the same period, and P is at the left, so it has the lowest electronegativity. F is in the same group of Cl, but at the top. F has the highest electronegativity.

d. O, P, N ⇒ order: P, N, O

N and P are in the same group, but P is at the bottom so it has the lower electronegativity. N and O are in the same period, but O is at the right, so it is the most electronegative.

Write the formula of the coordination compound pentaamminecarbonatocobalt(III) iodide. Enclose the coordination complex in squar
7nadin3 [17]

Answer:

[Co(NH3)5CO3]I3

Explanation:

The naming of coordination compounds follows certain rules specified by IUPAC. Usually, the name of the complex makes it quite easy to deduce its structure.

"Pentaamine" means that there are five NH3 ligands as shown in the structure. The ligand carbonato is CO3^2-.  It has no prefix attached to it in the IUPAC name of the complex hence there is only one carbonato ligand present(recall that the complex has a coordination number of six). I did not enclose it within parenthesis as required in the question.

Lastly the III that appeared after the metal name "cobalt" shows its oxidation state. The iodide counter ions must then be 3 in number in order to satisfy this primary valency of the metal hence the inclusion of I3 in the structure of the complex.

How do cells get ATP, the energy currency that does work in living things?
luda_lava [24]
How do cells get ATP through Cellular Respiration.
Cellular respiration takes place in the mitochondria. The Mitochondria use oxygen (O2) to convert broken-down glucose (at type of sugar) into carbon dioxide (CO2) and water (H2O).
The reactants of CR are oxygen and glucose.
The products of CR are ATP, carbon dioxide, and water.
