You haven't told us what any of those letters represents.

I'm going to assume that ...

-- ' P ' = power

-- ' I ' = circuit current

-- ' V ' = circuit voltage

-- ' E ' = energy

-- ' t ' = time.

Now I'm ready to answer the question that I just invented.

P = I / V

V = P x I

Both of these are false statements, and can't be used to calculate anything.

P = I x V is the correct equation to calculate electrical power.

E = P x t is the correct equation to calculate electrical energy.

Would you be doing more work going up the stairs twice as fast?
SSSSS [86.1K]
If you use the stairs at normal speed, you will survive longer, and go up higher.
When going up the stairs twice as fast, you lose energy more quickly, but height would remain the same.

Zinc metal (Zn) and sulfur powder (s) undergo a chemical reaction to form zinc sulfide (ZnS) which equation represents this chem
dexar [7]

Zinc metal (Zn) reacts with sulfur (S) to create zinc sulfide (ZnS), and the chemical reaction is: Zn (s) + S (s) = ZnS (s).

Importance of Zinc (Zn) and sulfur (S):

 • Zinc(Zn) is a vital element that our systems need to absorb food and nutrients as well as create healthy skin and bones. Zinc(Zn) ions play a crucial role in a number of the body's enzymes.
 • Sulfur(S) is a pale yellow, tasteless, brittle solid that is also necessary for life. It is found in many proteins as well as the amino acids cysteine and methionine. It is a trace element found in bone minerals, bodily fluids, and lipids.

Chemical reaction -

In this experiment, heating a zinc(Zn) and sulfur(S) combination causes an interesting chemical reaction. A blinding flash of light, hot sparks, a hissing sound, and a cloud of white smoke in the shape of a mushroom are produced.

Therefore, the following chemical processes are taking place in the reaction: Zn (s) + S (s) = ZnS (s).

The wavelengths of terrestrial radiation from earth's surface are concentrated in _____.
Lady bird [3.3K]

The wavelengths of terrestrial radiation from earth's surface are concentrated in thermal infrared spectrum.

Explanation:

The wavelengths used in thermal infrared are in the range of micrometer ranging from 8 to 15. Terrestrial radiation is defined as the radiation that is originating from earth due to radioactive materials like uranium, thorium e.t.c.

Increase in terrestrial radiation by the use of radioactive materials will consequently increase global warming as it releases green house gases thereby degrading the quality of earth's atmosphere.
