A physical change occurred in which the iron remained iron, but lost one of its physical properties

Explanation: magnetization and demagnetization is a physical change as no new substance is form and it is easily reversed. When an iron rod is magnetized, it can loss it magnetic property by hitting it. So when an iron rod which is magnetized falls from a height it can also loss its magnetic property

A man pours some hot coffee into a small cup from a large jug that contains enough coffee for several cups. Which statement corr
Stells [14]

Answer:

The correct answer is "The coffee in the jug has more thermal energy than the coffee in the cup".

Explanation:

First I had to look for the problem to know the possible answers.

In this case, the coffee jug has a large amount of coffee at the same temperature. If we analyze that the decanter and the coffee are at the same temperature, we have a homogeneous thermal system. The cup is at room temperature, so by pouring coffee into it, the temperature of the coffee decreases to balance with the temperature of the cup. At this moment, the temperature of the cup-cafe system is lower than the jug-cafe system.

Thermal energy is the part of the internal energy of an equilibrated thermodynamic system that is proportional to its absolute temperature and increases or decreases by energy transfer.

In this way, we can ensure that the thermal energy of the cup-cafe system is lower than that of the jug-cafe system.

When reacted with elemental chlorine at room temperature, liquid phosphorous trichloride (PCl3) is converted to solid phosphorou
Sergeu [11.5K]

PCl₅ reacts upon contact with water to launch hydrogen chloride and supply phosphorus oxides. the primary hydrolysis product is phosphorus oxychloride     PCl₅ + H₂O ========>  POCl₃ + 2HCl.

Phosphorus trichloride appears as a colorless or slightly yellow fuming liquid with a pungent and irritating odor resembling that of hydrochloric acid. Causes severe burns to skin, eyes and mucous membranes.

Divide the mass of the material through its molar mass. The molar mass of a substance is the mass in grams of 1 mole of that substance. This mass is given via the atomic weight of the chemical unit that makes up that substance in atomic mass units.

One mole is described as the amount of substance containing as many number one entities atoms, molecules, ions, electrons, radicals, and lots of others. As there are atoms in 12 grams of carbon - 12(6. 023×10²³. The mass of one mole of a substance equals to its relative molecular mass expressed in grams.
