Answer:

Length = 3.2feets ; width = 6feets

Step-by-step explanation:

Given the following :

Actual dimension of Mural:

8feets by 15feets

Scale drawing ratio of Mural :

2feets : 5feets

This means :

2 Feets on paper equals 5 Feets of actual drawing:

Therefore, with actual dimension of Length = 8feets ;

Length of scale drawing = (2/5) * 8 = 3.2feets

Actual dimension of width 15feets ;

Width of scale drawing = (2/5) * 15 = 6 Feets

Your line 4 should have "angle DEC" not "angle EDC". The order of the letters is important. I marked the two angles ABC and DEC in the attached image below. They are alternate interior angles. Because DE || AB, this means the alternate interior angles are congruent.

Since C is the midpoint of EB, this means BC = CE by the definition of the midpoint. Basically EB is cut into two halfs BC and CE which are the same length.

After you establish all of what is mentioned previously, you would use the AAS congruence theorem. AAS stands for Angle Angle Side. One pair of angles are the vertical angles (see line 2). Another pair of congruent angles is the alternate interior angles (line 4). The sides are not between the pairs of angles mentioned. Again check out the attached image for more visual information.

Finally, if we know the triangles are congruent, then the corresponding parts are congruent (CPCTC). That leads to the conclusion that DC = AC.

Edit: it's actually ASA and not AAS because the sides are between the two angles (I was thinking of another diagram earlier)

I NEED ASAP!!! PLEASE. Mom Nick has 7.00$. Bagels cost 0.75$ each and a small container of cream cheese is 1.29$. Write an inequ
qwelly [4]

The inequality to find the number of bagels nick can buy is 0.75b + 1.29 \leq 7 where "b' is the number of bangles he can buy

Solution:

Given that Nick has 7.00$

Bagels cost 0.75$ each and a small container of cream cheese is 1.29$

To find: inequality that represents the number of bangles nick can buy

Let "b" represent the number of bangles he can buy

Given that small container of cream cheese is 1.29$. Assuming that one small container of cream cheese is $ 1.29

Cost of 1 bangle = $ 0.75

Then, cost of "b" bangles = $ 0.75b

The inequality is framed as:

cost of "b" bangles + cost of 1 container of cream cheese must be less than or equal to 7.00

Here "less than or equal to " is used because the amount he spends must be less than or equal to 7

0.75b + 1.29 \leq 7

Thus the inequality is found

On solving,

0.75b + 1.29 \leq 7\\\\0.75b\leq 5.71\\\\b\leq 7.61

So the number of bangles he can buy is b \leq 7

How many girls are in the marching band? And how can I turn 3/10 into a number
Anton [14]

Answer:

The answer is 40

Step-by-step explanation:

28/x=7/10

firs you need to setup this equation and solve it to get 40

there are 12 girls in the band and 28 boys in the band and I know this because 12+28=40 just like 3/10 + 7/10= 10/10

12 divided by 4 is 3

28 divided by 4 is 7
