Answer:

The answer is average speed is equal to 0.25cm/sec

Step by step Explanation:

1-The average speed is defined as the relationship between the displacement that a body made and the total time it took to perform it.

2- The formula that allows to calculate the average velocity is V = \frac{ΔX}{ΔT} where (V) is the average speed, (ΔX) is the displacement and (ΔT) is the time interval.

3- As the ladybug advanced 10cm and moved back 5cm we have that the displacement is equal to 5cm, and the time interval is equal to 20 sec.

4- having this we can replace the problem data and find the average speed.

v  = \frac{5cm}{20sec} \\v = 0.25\frac{cm}{sec}

If you hit another object with your vehicle, your _______ will be slowed or stopped by the force of impact caused by that object
BaLLatris [955]

Answer:

Speed

Explanation:

If a vehicle hit any other object then its speed will slow down or some time the vehicle will stop its depends on the force exerted by other object on the vehicle.

The change in speed of vehicle is due to momentum because momentum is always conserved. So to conserve the momentum the speed of the vehicle decreases because after hitting the overall mass is increases.

Answer:

Water can carry electricity

Explanation:

While pure water does not conduct electricity, ionized water does. It is common that water is ionized than is pure, unless it is purified. The dissolved ions in the water are what makes the water conduct electricity. Handling electric equipment with wet hands may lead to electrocution.

In metals, some electrons from the outer shells of atoms are shared with other atoms, with the result that electrons can freely
Kazeer [188]
<h2>Answer:Option F</h2>

Explanation:

Metals have few number of electrons in their valence shell.

The force with which the nucleus of the metal atom is pulling the electron towards itself is lower on the valence shell because the distance between the nucleus an valence shell is large.

So,there are a lot of free electrons in metals.

When the ends of metals are at different potential,electrons flow from one end to another to balance the potential.This feature of metals allows them to conduct electricity.

Similarly,when the ends of metals are at different temperatures,conduction will take place and electrons are the carriers of conduction.This feature of metals allows them to conduct heat.

So,metals are good conductors of heat and electricity.

Near the earth's surface, the electric field in the open air has magnitude 150 N/c and is directed down towards the ground. If t
kati45 [8]

Hi there!

Using the equation for the electric field produced by an infinite sheet of charge:

E = \frac{\sigma}{2\epsilon_0}

E = Electric field strength (150 N/C)

σ = Surface charge density (? C/m²)

ε₀ = Permittivity of free space (8.8542× 10⁻¹² C²/Nm²)

We can rearrange the equation to solve for the surface charge density (charge per unit area)

E = \frac{\sigma}{2\epsilon_0}\\\\\sigma = 2E\epsilon_0\\\\\sigma = 2(150)(8.8542*10^{-12}) = \boxed{2.656 \times 10^{-9} \frac{C}{m^2}}
