If they didn't, they wouldn't be able to communicate their findings effectively. An international language is especially important for elements because many elements have similar properties (e.g. some of the transition metals).

A frisbee is moving at 11 m/s and has 3.6j of energy. how much does it weigh?
Ber [7]

Answer:

0.06 kg

Explanation:

Given data:

Mass of frisbee = ?

Velocity of frisbee = 11 m/s

Energy of frisbee = 3.6 j

Solution:

K.E = 1/2 mv²

Now we will put the values in this formula.

3.6 J = 1/2 m(11m/s)²

3.6 j = 0.5 ×121m²/s² × m

3.6 j = 60.5 m²/s² × m

m = 3.6 j/60.5 m²/s²

m= 0.06 j.m⁻².s²

j = Kg.m².s⁻²

m= 0.06 Kg.m².s⁻² .m⁻².s²

m = 0.06 kg

Which of the following phases occur at point B on the phase diagram shown below
leonid [27]

Answer:

C. freezing

Explanation:

Point B is right at the border between a solid and a liquid so you can have two physical changes:

a) solid is meting to transform into a liquid

or

b) liquid is freezing to transform into a solid (C)

If you are on the border between a solid and a gas you have the following physical changes:

solid to gas - sublimation

gas to solid - deposition

If you are on the border between a liquid and a gas you have the following physical changes:

liquid to gas - boiling

gas to liquid - condensation

The graph below shows the weekly salaries of two employees based on the number of items sold.
saw5 [17]
From looking over the graph, I would say the second option, "Marsha earns the most money per item sold because her line increases at a faster rate than Dreya's." Hope this helps, have a BLESSED day! :-)
