The correct answer is A. Acid rain forms from human activities and lowers the pH of rainwater below 7

Explanation:

The term "acid rain" is used to refer to rainwater with a low pH or a high acidity, this includes rainwater with a pH below 7 (solutions with a pH under 7 are acidic). In terms of formation, acid rain is mainly the result of human activities such as factories or cars that release pollutants into the atmosphere including nitric and sulfuric acids and these alter the natural pH of rain and makes it more acidic. Additionally, acid rain has negative consequences such as the death of fishes and other organisms in lakes, rivers, etc. because the acidity is toxic to many organisms. Thus, acid rain is the result of human activities and it lowers the pH of rain (Option A).

Plz help..During takeoff a plane accelerates at 4m/s^2 and takes 40s to reach takeoff speed.
matrenka [14]

Answer:

The velocity of the plane at take off is 160 m/s.

The distance travel by the plane in that time is 3200 meter.

Explanation:

Given:

Acceleration, a = 4 m/s²

Time, t = 40 s

u = 0 i .e initial velocity

To Find:

velocity , v = ?

distance , s =?

Solution:

we have first Kinematic equation

v = u + at

∴ v = 0 + 4×40

∴ v = 160 m/s

Now by Third Kinematic equation

s = ut + \frac{1}{2}at^{2}

∴ s = 0 + 0.5 × 4× 40²

∴ s = 3200 meter

How was Bohr's atomic model different from those of previous scientists?
exis [7]

Answer:Bohr placed the electrons in distinct energy levels.  Rutherford described the atom as consisting of a tiny positive mass surrounded by a cloud of negative electrons. Bohr thought that electrons orbited the nucleus in quantised orbits.

Explanation: also rutherfords was just a hypothesis while Bhor took the time to make his an experiment
