As you move down group one of the periodic table, what happens to the atomic radii? They increase, because of the higher number
Dennis_Churaev [7]

The correct answer is the atomic radius increase because of the higher number of occupied energy levels.

Atomic radius increases when going down a group. The valence electrons hold the higher levels because of the enhancing quantum number (n). As a consequence, the valence electrons get further away from the nucleus with the increase in n. The electron shielding inhibits these outer electrons from getting fascinated towards the nucleus. Therefore, they are held, and the resulting atomic radius is greater.

Serhud [2]

Answer:

(A)explaining how Marx believed the goals of communism would fix the problems of capitalism.

Explanation:

In the section, "The Necessary Resources", after listing the four resources needed for an economic system to thrive, the author explained the practice of capitalism in the mid-1800s, where people owned private property and how Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels came up with the notion that capitalism did not allow for the fair distribution of resources.

In the section, "Karl Marx and Communism", further explanation was provided as to how Marx felt that capitalism caused a gap between the rich and the poor, how that system was unfair to poorly paid workers and how communism will soon replace capitalism.

One mole of any substance contains 6.022*1023 structural units (atoms, molecules, ions, etc.). This number is known as the Avogadro constant.

One mole of any substance contains 6.022*1023 structural units (atoms, molecules, ions, etc.). This number is known as the Avogadro constant. So 1.04*107 mol of Al contains 1.40*107 * 6.022*1023 = 8.43*1030 structural units (in case of Al – atoms).

8.43*1030 particles Al.
