Answer:

The data are recorded incorrectly

Explanation:

Given that  Lucy is supposed to write down the lengths of 10 earthworms found near the playground at her school. She measures the earthworms’ lengths in millimeters, but she accidentally labels her data in centimeters.

The data is not inadequate because she recorded the required 10 measurements. They cannot be termed as false because these can be adjusted suitably to make it right.  The data cannot be reproduced is wrong as this data can be reproduced.

Only option c is wrong.

The data are recorded incorrectly. All of Lucy's data is correct, she just needs to convert her measurements from centimeters to millimeters.

) A 1000 kg car travelling at 50 m/s slams into a 1500 kg parked truck in an inelastic manner as
solmaris [256]

(a)

KE = m v^2 / 2 = (1200 kg)(20 m/s)^2 / 2 = 240,000 J

(b)

The energy is entirely dissipated by the force of friction in the brake system.

(c)

W = delta KE = KEf - KEi = (0 - 240,000) J = -240,000 J

(d)

Fd = delta KE

F = (delta KE) / d = (-240,000 J) / (50 m) = -4800 N

The magnitude of the friction force is 4800 N.
