Answer: C) 8 moles

Explanation:

According to the law of conservation of mass, mass can neither be created nor be destroyed. Thus the mass of products has to be equal to the mass of reactants. The number of atoms of each element has to be same on reactant and product side. Thus chemical equations are balanced.

2H_2O_2\rightarrow 2H_2+2O_2

According to stoichiometry of the given balanced equation:

2 moles of H_2O_2 decomposes to form 2 moles of O_2

Thus 8 moles of H_2O_2 decomposes to form=\frac{2}{2}\times 8=8moles of O_2

Thus 8 moles of O_2 are produced from 8 moles of H_2O_2

C 8 moles as you can ÷ the reaction  by 2 since it all has a 2 coefficient so that means for every 1 mole of H2O2 you decompose you get one mole of O2 <span />

Look at the equation CO2 + H2 = CO + H20.
sergejj [24]

Answer:

CO is considered as a product.

Explanation:

A general chemical equation for a combination reaction follows:

To write a chemical equation, we must follow some of the rules:

The reactants must be written on the left side of the direction arrow.

A '+' sign is written between the reactants, when more than one reactants are present.

An arrow is added after all the reactants are written in the direction where reaction is taking place. Here, the reaction is taking place in forward direction.

The products must be written on the right side of the direction arrow.

A '+' sign is written between the products, when more than one products are present.

For the given chemical equation:

are the reactants in the reaction and  are the products in the reaction.

Hence, CO is considered as a product.

PLEASE PLEASE HELP!
valentinak56 [21]

Answer: The number of grams of H_2 in 1620 mL is 1.44 g

Explanation:

According to ideal gas equation:

PV=nRT

P = pressure of gas = 1 atm (at STP)

V = Volume of gas = 1620 ml = 1.62 L  (1L=1000ml)

n = number of moles = ?

R = gas constant =0.0821Latm/Kmol

T =temperature =273K

n=\frac{PV}{RT}

n=\frac{1atm\times 16.2L}{0.0821Latm/K mol\times 273K}=0.72moles

Mass of hydrogen =moles\times {\text {Molar mass}}=0.72mol\times 2g/mol=1.44g

The number of grams of H_2 in 1620 mL is 1.44 g

How is molarity measured
Anuta_ua [19.1K]
Molarity (m) is defined as the number of moles to solute (n) the volume (v) of the solution in liters is important to note that the molarity is defined as moles of solute per liter of solution not moles of solute per liter of solute.
