When you build electrical circuits, you want to use the BEST CONDUCTOR to make the wires, so you won't lose too much energy in the wires.

The best conductor is Silver. But when you see what it costs, your heart sinks. You begin to think that maybe you can get along without the #1 BEST conductor; maybe the #2 best conductor will work.

The #2 best conductor is copper. People almost always make do with #2.

A diver rises quickly to the surface from a 5.0 m depth. If she did not exhale the gas from her lunds before rising, by what fac
Inessa [10]

Answer:

1.5 times

Explanation:

h = depth of the diver initially = 5 m

\rho = density of seawater = 1030 kg m⁻³

P_{i} = Initial pressure at the depth

P_{f} = final pressure after rising = 101325 Pa

Initial pressure at the depth is given as

P_{i} = P_{f} + \rho gh\\P_{i} = 101325 + (1030) (9.8) (5)\\P_{i} = 151795 Pa

V_{i} = Initial volume at the depth

V_{f} = Final volume after rising

Since the temperature remains constant, we have

P_{f} V_{f} = P_{i} V_{i}\\(101325) V_{f} = (151795) V_{i}\\V_{f} = 1.5 V_{i}

identify each type of radiation as ionizing or non-ionizing. remember that ionizing radiation deposits enough energy when absorb
Tju [1.3M]

According to the definition given, non-ionizing means using microwaves on a substance without causing charged ions to form by removing electrons from atoms.

<h3>What kind of energy exist?</h3>

The six primary forms of energy are chemical, electromechanical, photonic, muscular, geothermal, and nuclear fuel. Other research may focus on other forms including electrochemical, psychological, electromagnetic, and others.

<h3>Why is energy such a big deal?</h3>

Energy is a crucial part of our everyday life despite being just a basic human need. The buildings that people have constructed are heated and cooled by energy. Energy is needed to do things like lift your finger, get out of bed, or even merely go along the main corridor.

The International Space Station has a mass of 1.8 × 105 kg. A 70.0-kg astronaut inside the station pushes off one wall of the st
Aleonysh [2.5K]

Answer:

a = 5.83 \times 10^{-4} m/s^2

Explanation:

Since the system is in international space station

so here we can say that net force on the system is zero here

so Force by the astronaut on the space station = Force due to space station on boy

so here we know that

mass of boy = 70 kg

acceleration of boy = 1.50 m/s^2

now we know that

F = ma

F = 70(1.50) = 105 N

now for the space station will be same as above force

F = ma

105 = 1.8 \times 10^5 (a)

a = \frac{105}{1.8 \times 10^5}

a = 5.83 \times 10^{-4} m/s^2
