The synonym for innovator and a NASA program for unmanned probes is Pioneer. Pioneer 10, launched in 1972. and Pioneer 11 launched in 1973. were the first probes that visited the outer planets and went beyond Pluto, Kuiper belt and into interstellar space. They both carry the gold-anodized aluminum plaque with naked human male and female and a map to Earth, designed by Carl Sagan, in case they are found by an extraterrestrial civilization outside the Solar system.

andrew-mc [135]
In fresh water sound waves travel at 1497m/s at 25 degrees, I'll assume that's the characteristics of the water.

If it's 0.01s then you need to divide the speed by 100 to get the, 14.97, however it gets there and back in that time so you need to halve it.

A truck contains both hydraulic brakes (reliability 0.96) and mechanical brakes (reliability 0.99). What is the probability of s
Oksana_A [137]

Answer:

i) 0.9504

ii) 0.0452

Explanation:

Given data: reliability of hydraulic brakes= 0.96

reliability of mechanical brakes = 0.99

So the probability of stopping the truck = 0.96×0.99= 0.9504

At low speed

case: A works and B does not

= 0.96×(1-0.99) = 0.0096

case2 : B works and A does not

= 0.99×(1-0.96) = 0.0396

Therefore, probality of stopping = 0.0096+0.0396 = 0.0492

Describe how to prepare a 10.0% w/v solution of salt in water in a 100 mL volumetric flask
Sphinxa [80]
To prepare a 10.0% w/v solution of salt in water in a 100 mL volumetric flask, first you must weigh 10 g of salt because the 10 % 100 is 10 and the given should be 10 % w/v. place the 10 g salt to the volumetric flask then add water up until to mark of the volumetric flask then shake it.
