Answer:

Gold

NaCl

Silver

Explanation:

Every thing that has melting and boiling point above the room temperature is solid.

melting and boiling point of NaCl = 800 °C and 1465 °C respectively.

melting and boiling point of Gold = 1064 °C and 2700 °C respectively.

melting and boiling point of silver = 961.78 °C and 2162 °C respectively

Characteristics of solid:

1. Every solid has definite shape and volume.

2. It can not be change with the shape of container.

3. There are strong intermolecular forces are present.

4. Their inter molecular distance are very short.

5. Density of solid is very high

6. They can not be compress.

7. Their melting and boiling points are also very high.

Types of solids:

There are two types of solids.

1. Crystalline solid

2. amorphous solid

1. Crystalline solid

In crystalline solids atoms are arranged in well ordered manner. There are further four types of crystalline solids. For example diamonds, table salt, snow flacks etc. The crystalline solids have sharp melting points because of similar arrangements of atoms.

1. Metallic solid

2. Network solid

3. Molecular solid

4. Ionic solid

2. Amorphous solid

In amorphous solids atoms are arranged in very disordered manner.

Example include:

gel, glass, plastics, polymers, lubricants etc

What does a chemical bond results from a rearrangement of?
Dmitriy789 [7]

Atoms

Explanation:

Chemical bonds results from the rearrangement of atoms in a chemical species.

It deals with the various attractive forces joining chemical species togethe.

  • When atoms are re-arranged, they form chemical bonds that leads to production of new compounds.
  • This is made possible by the exchange or sharing of electrons.
  • The driving force for most interatomic bonding is the tendency to have completely filled outer energy levels like the noble gases.
  • When atoms are re-arranged in compounds they lead to the production of chemical bonds.
