There are 3 forces applied to a mass of 82.9 kg. Force 1 has a magnitude of 75.7 N at an angle of 41.5 degrees above the positiv

e x-axis. Force 2 has a magnitude of 10.9 N at an angle of 62.5 degrees above the negative x-axis. Force 3 has a magnitude of 72.1 N at an angle of 35.2 degrees below the positive x-axis. What is the magnitude of the acceleration of the mass

Answer:

The magnitude of the acceleration of the mass is 1.34m/s²

Explanation:

Check attachment for diagram

According to Newton's second law,

Force = mass × acceleration

Since we have more than force experienced by the object, we will take the summation of the forces along the positive x axis i.e

ΣFx = max where

m is the mass of the object

ΣFx is the summation of the forces

ax is the magnitude of the acceleration of the mass

Given mass = 82.8kg

ΣFx = 75.7cos41.5° + (-10.9cos62.5°) + 72.1cos35.2°

ΣFx = 75.7cos41.5° - 10.9cos62.5°) + 72.1cos35.2°

ΣFx = 110.58N

From the formula

ax = ΣFx/m

ax = 110.58/82.8

ax = 1.34m/s²

What happens in the gray zone between solid and liquid?
Reil [10]

Answer:

Hence from liquid to solid or solid to liquid the transition has to cross the grey zone. This grey zone transition is is very crucial which includes the intermolecular forces acting on the molecules and each atoms which makes the change in state from hot to cold and cold to hot.

Rashid [163]

Answer:

f₂ = 468.67 Hz

Explanation:

A beat is a sudden increase and decrease of sound. The beats are produced through the interference of two sound waves of slightly different frequencies. Now we have the following data:

The higher frequency tone = f₁ = 470 Hz

No. of beats = n = 4 beats

Time period = t = 3 s

The lower frequency note = Frequency of Friend's Trombone = f₂ = ?

Beat Frequency = fb

So, the formula for beats per second or beat frequency is given as:

fb = n/t

fb = 4 beats/ 3 s

fb = 1.33 Hz

Another formula for beat frequency is:

fb = f₁ - f₂

f₂ = f₁ - fb

f₂ = 470 Hz - 1.33 Hz

f₂ = 468.67 Hz
