A fast Humvee drove from Desert A to Desert B. for the first 12 hours and traveled at an average speed of 185 km/h. For the next

13 hours, it travelled at an average speed of 160 km/h. What was the average speed of the whole journey?

Answer:

The value is v_t = 172 \  km/h

Explanation:

From the question we are told that

    The average speed for the first 12 hours is u = 185 km/h

    The average speed for the next 13 hours is  v =  160 \ km/h

Generally the total time taken is mathematically represented as

     t_t =  12 + 13

=> t_t =  25 \  h

The distance covered in the first movement is

          D =  u * 12

         D =  185 * 12

        D =  2220 \  km

The distance covered in the first movement is

          d=  v * 13

         d =  160 * 13

        d =  2080 \  km

The total distance traveled is

       D_t  = D + d

       D_t  = 2220 +2080

      D_t  = 4300 \  km

The average  of the whole journey is

      v_t = \frac{D_t}{t_t}

     v_t = \frac{4300}{25}

     v_t = \frac{4300}{25}

    v_t = 172 \  km/h

A golf club hits a stationary 0.05kg golf ball with and average force of 5.0 x 10^3 newtons accelerating the ball at 44 meters p
maxonik [38]

Answer: The magnitude of impulse imparted to the ball by the golf club is 2.2 N seconds

Explanation:

Force applied on the golf ball = 5.0\times 10^3 N

Mass of the ball = 0.05 kg

Velocity with which ball is accelerating = 44 m/s

Time period over which forece applied = t

f=ma=\frac{m\times v}{t}

t=\frac{0.05 kg\times 44m/s}{5.0\times 10^3 N}=4.4\times 10^{-4} seconds

Impulse=(force)\times (time)=f\times t = 5.0\times 10^3\times 4.4\times 10^{-4} seconds=2.2 Newton seconds

The magnitude of impulse imparted to the ball by the golf club is 2.2 N seconds

An example of an atom that has no change is one that has A. 1 proton, 2 electrons, and 3 neutrons B. 3 protons,2 electrons, and
Vikki [24]

Your question asks which is an example of an atom that has no change, or charge.

Your answer would be C). 2 protons, 2 electrons, and 1 neutron

These atoms would be known as a neutral atom.

In order for an atom to be neutral, it must have the same amount of protons and electrons.

We know that Protons are positive

We also know that Electrons are negative

In order for the atom to be neutral, they must have an equal amount of protons and neutrons to "cancel out"

In answer choice C, you would see that there are 2 protons and 2 electrons.

2- 0 = 0, in which allows this atom to be neutral.

Therefore, answer choice C. 2 protons, 2 electrons, and 1 neutron would be your answer.
