The 2 seconds part isn’t relèvent to the question.
So momentum = mass x velocity
So 0.18 x 100 = 18

Two students have fitted their scooters with the same engine. Student A and his
sammy [17]

The force exerted by student A with his scooter is 306 N and that of student B is 204 N.

<h3>Force applied by each student</h3>

The force exerted by each student is calculated from Newton's second law of motion.

F = ma

where;

  • m is mass
  • a is acceleration

F(A) = 127.5 x 2.4

F(A) = 306 N

F(B) = 120 x 1.7

F(B) = 204 N

Thus, the force exerted by student A with his scooter is 306 N and that of student B is 204 N.

A marble on a frictionless track, starting from point A in the drawing, is projected down the curved runway. (This means that th
EleoNora [17]

Answer:

v = 4.4 m / s

Explanation:

Unfortunately, the exercise scheme does not appear. Let's analyze the problem the marble leaves point A with an initial velocity, goes down and then rises to a given height where its velocity is zero, in the whole trajectory they tell us that the resistance is zero, so we can use the conservation relations of the enegy.

Starting point. Point A

          Em₀ = K + U = ½ m v2 + mg y_a

point B.

          Em_f = U = m g y

the energy is conserved

         Em₀ = Em_f

         ½ m v² + mg y_a = m g y

        ½ m v² = m g (y -y_a)

         v = \sqrt {2g ( y - y_a)}

         In the exercise the diagram is not seen, but the height of point A must be known, suppose that y_a = 4 m

       v = \sqrt{ 2 \  9.8 ( 5 -4)}

       v = 4.4 m / s

Thoughts about Genetically Modified Crops
Alex787 [66]
I think that GMOs, also known as genetically modified crops or organisms, can be used in good and bad ways. They can provide crops to survive longer, and produce a bigger portion. However, on the other side of that, it is claimed that it creates a large amount of greenhouse gas emissions, which can turn into climate change.

What visible wavelengths of light are strongly reflected from a 390-nm-thick soap bubble?
DiKsa [7]

Answer:

So visible wavelength which is possible here is

416 nm and 693.3 nm

Explanation:

As we know that for normal incidence of light the path difference of the reflected ray is given as

2\mu t + \frac{\lambda}{2} = \Delta x

so here we can say that for maximum intensity condition we will have

\Delta x = N\lambda

so we have

2\mu t + \frac{\lambda}{2} = N\lambda

now for visible wavelength we have

for N = 1

2\mu t = \frac{\lambda}{2}

\lambda = 4\mu t

\lambda = 4(\frac{4}{3})(390 nm)

\lambda = 2080 nm

for N = 2

\lambda = \frac{4\mu t}{3}

\lambda = \frac{4(\frac{4}{3})(390 nm)}{3}

\lambda = 693.3 nm

for N = 3

\lambda = \frac{4\mu t}{5}

\lambda = \frac{4(\frac{4}{3})(390 nm)}{5}

\lambda = 416 nm

What is the slant of a line on a graph called
tatiyna

Ashleybotello0129,

What is the slant of a line on a graph called "the slope." Slopes are in math, and science. Slopes look like slanted lines start from one side and to another.

Hope this helps!
