-10.3 since you multiply 1.67 by ten first by doing that it moves the decimal to the right so its 16.7 then subtract 27 which would give you the answer of -10.3

On Earth, Locations M and O are in areas that receive sunlight that is spread out. Which statement is most likely true about the
Ahat [919]

A-Locations M and O are at the poles.

Explanation:

Locations M and O are located at the poles because they receive sunlight that is spread out over a large surface area. The poles receive sunlight at an angle to the surface and it causes the rays of the sun to spread out in all direction.

  • At the equator, sunlight impinges directly on the surface and the solar radiation here is very much.
  • It is important to know that the sun is overhead directly at the equator.
  • The earth is tilted at an angle to sun and therefore, areas around the polar region will receive sunlight that is spread out in different directions over a large area.
  • Away from the pole, the equator is directly facing the sun and it receives direct sunlight.

How does the photoelectric effect show that light has some properties of a stream of particles.
Oliga [24]
The photoelectric effect supports a particle theory of light in that it behaves like an elastic collision (one that conserves mechanical energy) between two particles, the photon of light and the electron of the metal.

To break the oxygen-oxygen bonds in a single O2 molecule, 1 × 10–18 J of energy is required. Which of the following wavelengths
Sonbull [250]

E = hc/(lamda)

The lamda symbol is wavelength, which this site does not have. I can represent it with an "x" instead.

Plancks constant, h = 6.626×10^-32 J·s

Speed of light, c = 3.00×10^8 m/s

The energy must be greater than or equal to 1×10^-18 J

1×10^-18 J ≤ (6.626×10^-32 J·s)*(3.0×10^8 m/s) / x

x ≤ (6.626×10^-32 J·s)*(3.0×10^8 m/s) / (1×10^-18 J)

x ≤ 1.99×10^-7 m or 199 nm

The wavelength of light must be greater than or equal to 199 nm
