According to Ohm's Law, the voltage is equal to the current multiplied by resistance. Presenting the law in equation form:

V = IR

This law still applies in an R2-D2 droid circuit. Rearranging the equation:

I = V/R

Hence, the current is inversely proportional to the resistance.
