Answer :

Reaction 1 :

This reaction is a balanced chemical reaction and it is an acid-base reaction.

Reaction 2 :

This reaction is an balanced chemical reaction and it is an double-displacement reaction.

The balanced chemical reaction will be,

CaCl_2(aq)+2NaHCO_3(aq)\rightarrow CO_2(g)+CaCO_3(aq)+2NaCl(aq)+H_2O(l)

Explanation :

Balanced chemical reaction : It is defined as the reaction in which the number of atoms of individual elements present on reactant side must be equal to the product side.

If the amount of atoms of each type on the left and right sides of a reaction differs then to balance the equation by adding coefficient in the front of the elements or molecule or compound in the chemical equation.

The coefficient tell us about that how many molecules or atoms present in the chemical equation.

Reaction 1 :

The given chemical reaction is,

CH_3COOH(aq)+NaHCO_3(s)\rightarrow CO_2(g)+H_2O(l)+Na^+(aq)+CH_3COO^-(aq)

This reaction is a balanced chemical reaction because in this reaction the number of atoms of individual elements present on reactant side are equal to the product side.

This reaction is acid-base reaction in which an acid react with a base to give salt and water as a product.

Reaction 2 :

The given chemical reaction is,

CaCl_2(aq)+NaHCO_3(aq)\rightarrow CO_2(g)+CaCO_3(aq)+NaCl(aq)+H_2O(l)

This reaction is an unbalanced chemical reaction because in this reaction number of chlorine, hydrogen and oxygen atoms are not balanced.

In order to balance the chemical equation, the coefficient '2' put before the NaHCO_3\text{ and }NaCl and we get the balanced chemical equation.

The balanced chemical reaction will be,

CaCl_2(aq)+2NaHCO_3(aq)\rightarrow CO_2(g)+CaCO_3(aq)+2NaCl(aq)+H_2O(l)

This reaction is a double-displacement reaction in which the cation of two reactants molecule exchange their places to give two different products.

Day and night are caused by... 1.the tilt of Earth's axis. 2. Earth's revolution around the sun. 3. eclipses. 4.Earth's rotation
Kryger [21]

Answer:

earths rotation on its axis

Explanation:

Day and night are due to the Earth rotating on its axis, not its orbiting around the sun. The term 'one day' is determined by the time the Earth takes to rotate once on its axis and includes both day time and night time.

What molarity is prepared when a solution contains 0.277 moles of calcium bromide in 500 mL of solution (must change mL to Liter
Vladimir79 [104]

Answer:

0.554M of Calcium Bromide

Explanation:

Molarity by defintion is #of moles of something/litres of solution.

Therefore, here, we have 0.277 moles of calcium bromide and 500mL (divide 500ml by 1000 to go from mL to L because for every 1L there's 1000mL) or 0.5L.

Molarity= 0.277/0.5 = 0.554M of Calcium Bromide

2Ag + H2S ? Ag2S + H2 Which statement is true about this chemical equation? A) Ag (silver) is oxidized and H (hydrogen) is reduc
nadezda [96]

Answer:

It is A).

Explanation:

Silver (Ag) goes from the pure metal to Ag+ losing 1 electron so it is oxidised.

The hydrogen ion gains electrons and is reduced.

Consider the reaction: CH4 + 2O2 = CO2 + 2H2O
crimeas [40]

Answer:

The answer to your question is:

a)  80 g of O2

b) O2, 15.13 g of CO2

c) It's not posible to know which is the limiting reactant.

Explanation:

Reaction                             CH4   +   2O2   ⇒   CO2   +   2H2O

a. Calculate the grams of O2 needed to react with 20.00 grams of CH4. _____________

MW CH4 = 16 g

MW O2 = 32 g

                               16 g of CH4 ----------------  2(32) g of O2

                               20 g              --------------    x

                               x = (20 x 64) / 16 = 80 g of O2

b. Given 15.00 g. of CH4 and 22.00 g. of O2, identify the limiting reactant and calculate the grams of CO2 that can be produced. LR _________ grams CO2 _________ .

                                CH4   +   2O2   ⇒   CO2   +   2H2O

                                15 g         22 g

                                16 g of CH4 ----------------  64 g of O2

                                15 g of CH4  ---------------   x

                               x = (15 x 64) / 16 = 60 g of O2

The Limiting reactant is O2 because it is necessary 60g of O2 for 16 g of CH4 and there are only 22.

                                 CH4   +   2O2   ⇒   CO2   +   2H2O

                        64 g of O2 ------------------  44 g of CO2

                        22 g of O2 ------------------   x

                        x = (22 x 44)/ 64 = 15. 13 g of CO2

c. For the reaction CH4 + 2O2 = CO2 + 2H2O, if you have 10.31 g. of CH4 and an unknown amount of oxygen, and form 20.00 g. of CO2, i. Identify if there is a limiting reactant ______________ ii. Calculate the number of grams of the limiting reactant present if there is one. ______________

                           CH4   +   2O2   ⇒   CO2   +   2H2O

                           10.31 g                     20 g

We can identify the limiting reactant if we know the quantity of the reactants, if we only know the quantity of one it is not posible to which is the limiting reactant.
