Please have a picture because people don’t know what you are talking about. But, I’m guessing you are talking about optics so the light source is put at F, there would be nothing. No image, no size, not inverted, etc.

Harlamova29_29 [7]

you need to use hours to make it easy to convert to m/s. Change 15 minutes to hours

Note distance is in km so change the time to hours to get km/hour

1 hour = 60mins so 15 minutes will be 0.25 hours

10/0.25 = 40 km/ hour

To change that to m/second, change km to meters and hour to second

it will be (40x1000) meters /3600seconds

11.1111 m/s

What potential difference would an electron have to fall through to acquire a speed of 3.00*10^6 m/sec?
kirill [66]

Answer:

25.6 V

Explanation:

The kinetic energy of electron associated with its potential difference is given by eV which is equal to the 1/2 mv^2.

m = 9.1 x 10^-31 kg, v = 3 x 10^6 m/s, e = 1.6 x 10^-19 C

eV = 1/2 m v^2

V = mv^2 / 2 e

V = (9.1 x 10^-31) x (3 x 10^6)^2 / (2 x 1.6 x 10^-19)

V = 25.6 V

A cell phone weighing 80 grams is flying through the air at 15 m/s. What is its kinetic energy
Contact [7]

Answer:

The kinetic energy of the cell phone is 9J

Explanation:

The kinetic energy is the energy possessed by a body by virtue of motion.

The kinetic energy is expressed as

KE= 1/2m(v)²

Given data

Mass of cell phone m= 80g--to kg=80/1000= 0.08kg

Velocity of cell phone v= 15m/s

Substituting our given data we have

KE= 1/2*0.08(15)²

KE= (0.08*225)/2

KE=18/2

KE= 9J

A student lists a set of materials
alexdok [17]

Answer:

D. wood, hydrogen gas, milk, and water

Explanation:

Waves will transmit through wood, hydrogen gas, milk and water.

Waves are disturbances that propagates energy usually through a material medium.

Most mechanical waves pass through the given medium. Only electromagnetic waves do not really require a material medium for their propagation. They can be propagated through a vacuum.

a 5.0 kg tool box is raised from the ground by a rope. if the upward acceleration of the bucket is 2.5 m/s^2 , find the force ex
denpristay [2]

Answer:

62 N

Explanation:

Sum of the forces on the toolbox:

∑F = ma

T − mg = ma

T = mg + ma

T = m (g + a)

T = (5.0 kg) (9.8 m/s² + 2.5 m/s²)

T = 61.5 N

Rounded to two significant figures, the force exerted by the rope is 62 N.
