Not really the volume of a container is simply length X width X depth so just how big the container unless the water is pressurized by some sort of weight or if the containers air pressure is lowered

Consider the following cyclic process carried out in two steps on a gas. Step 1: 44 J of heat is added to the gas, and 20. J of
notka56 [123]

Answer:37 J

Explanation:

Given

Step :1

Heat added Q=44 J

Work done=-20 J

\Delta E_1=Q+W=44-20=24 J

Step :2

Heat added Q=-61 J

work done W_2

\Delta E_2=Q+W_2

\Delta E_2=61+W_2

\Delta E_1+\Delta E_2=0

as the process is cyclic

44-20-61+W_2=0

W_2=37 J

work done in compression is 37 J

Suppose that a planet were discovered between the sun and Mercury, with a circular orbit of radius equal to 2/3 of the average o
Musya8 [376]

Explanation:

It is given that,

A planet were discovered between the sun and Mercury, with a circular orbit of radius equal to 2/3 of the average orbit radius of Mercury.

Mass of the Sun, M=1.99\times 10^{30}\ kg

Radius of Mercury's orbit, r=5.79\times 10^{10}\ m

Radius of discovered planet, R=\dfrac{2}{3}r

R=\dfrac{2}{3}\times 5.79\times 10^{10}\ m=3.86\times 10^{10}\ m

Let T is the orbital period of such a planet. Using Kepler's third law of planetary motion as :

T^2\propto R^3

T^2=\dfrac{4\pi^2R^3}{GM}

T^2=\dfrac{4\pi^2\times (3.86\times 10^{10})^3}{6.67\times 10^{-11}\times 1.99\times 10^{30}}

T=\sqrt{1.71\times 10^{13}}

T = 4135214.625 s

or

T = 47.86 days

So, the orbital period of such a planet is 47.86 days. Hence, this is the required solution.

Answer:

31m/s

23.17°

Explanation:

Given the following :

From the diagram attached :

AB = 15m/s, BC = 18m/s, AC = a = resultant

Resolving Velocity into both vertical and horizontal component.

evablogger [386]
<span>1) Explain how the particles that make up solid matter can be in perpetual motion if they do not change position.  Answer: they do not mov, just vibrate a bit more and move further apart. And as a result solid expand a bit.

</span><span>2) How the Kinetic Theory of Matter defines heat. Answer: Heat is a form of energy that particles convert into kinetic energy. Adding a heat energy increases the kinetic energy of particles. This means that as a substance is heated - the particles vibrate faster and move further apart. </span>

The power lines are at a high potential relative to the ground, so there is an electric field between the power lines and the gr
s344n2d4d5 [400]

Answer:C.The tube should be held vertically, perpendicular to the ground.

Explanation: Power lines are mainly overhead power installation that transfer electric energy from one place to another. Electric power lines contains both Magnetic field and Electric field.

Potential difference is the change in the amount of energy carried by an electric circuit from one point to another. TO MAXIMIZE THE POTENTIAL DIFFERENCE BETWEEN ONE END OF THE TUBE AND ANOTHER? THE TUBE SHOULD BE HELD VERTICALLY,PERPENDICULAR TO THE GROUND.
