Answer: True

Explanation: To make out a prima facie case, the plaintiff must have already established the fact that he/she was discriminated against.  This means that he has met his initial burden of proof by providing evidence to justify his claim. If the person against whom the claim is filed does not provide evidence that proves otherwise, the court may rule in favor of the plaintiff.

Discrimination can be on the basis of sex, race, age among others.

By 1860 where were most of the country's goods manufactured
Leni [432]

By the 1800s manufacturing industries in the United States were mostly located in the East and the Midwest. This is because of the railway systems that were developed within the area which paved the way for goods to be delivered to different states in the United States. Aside from this, the spaces for these areas are much wider than it is in the north and the south.

Explain how demand works in economics?
Natalija [7]
If you’re talking about supply and demand, demand is how much people want of something, and the suppliers how much of it is available. If there is more demand then there is supply, the price of the product will go up. If there is more supplied and there is demand, the price will go down.

Which statement best explains why Governor Cruce was opposed to the Democrats’ plan to gerrymander Oklahoma in 1912?
Drupady [299]

Answer:

The correct is D.  He wanted to avoid having the congressional map challenged in court.

Explanation:

Governor Lee Cruce clashed with the Democratic Party on several policies, including higher education and local interest projects. Another one of their differences was the plan to gerrymander Oklahoma in 1912.

Cruce was opposed to gerrymandering Oklahoma as he wished to avoid having the congressional map challenged in court. As per the rules of the Supreme Court, four among the nine Justices had to vote to accept a case. Lee's veto of the gerrymandering plan angered many of the Democrats and eventually contributed to his break with the Democratic Party.
