Answer:

well... when the horse stops/rests, or if it is blocked by a surface or anything of solid background.

Explanation:

If it is going up a hill or slope and it just starts to move that would also be considered the smallest amount of acceleration this can go for many things when it just starts to move. but I would go for when it rests amounting to your fitting of the question.

If a person uses about 4 calories to fuel a minute of walking, and it takes about 20 minutes to walk a mile, approximately how m
Lemur [1.5K]

Answer:

43.75 miles must a person walk to utilize the energy in (“burn”) a pound of fat.

Explanation:

3,500 calories are present in 1 pound of the fat.

Thus, given that:

4 calories are burnt in 1 minute of walking.

So,

1 calories are burnt in 1/4 minute of walking.

Or,

1 calories are burnt in 0.25 minute of walking.

Thus,

3500 calories are burnt in 0.25*3500 minutes of walking

Minutes of walking needed to burn 3500 calories = 875 minutes.

Also, given that:

20 minutes of walking covers 1 mile.

1 minute of walking covers 1/20 mile.

So,

875 minutes of walking covers (1/20)*875 mile.

43.75 miles must a person walk to utilize the energy in (“burn”) a pound of fat.

The formula for electrical power is p = i v. Which is the equivalent equation solved for i? startfraction p over v endfraction =
Anettt [7]

The equivalent formula for p = iv is the startfraction p over v endfraction = i

In physics, power measures the rate of transfer of electrical energy through a circuit per unit of time. It is denoted by P and is measured using the SI unit of power (watts or 1 joule/second). Electrical energy is usually supplied by batteries and produced by generators.

There are three types of power, true, reactive, and apparent, which are related in trigonometric form. This is called the power triangle. A power triangle that relates apparent power to active and reactive power. Power is measured in watts. One watt equals one joule per second.
