Answer:

Mass of system will be 288.605\times 10^{-28}kg

Explanation:

We have given a system consist 150 electrons

Mass of one electron m_{e}=9.1\times 10^{-31}kg

So mass of 150 electron =150\times 9.1\times 10^{-31}=1365\times 10^{-31}=1.365\times 10^{-28}kg

Charge on system is +22e

So number of proton = 150 +22 = 172

Mass of one proton =1.67\times 10^{-27}kg

So mass of 172 proton =172\times 1.67\times 10^{-27}=287.24\times 10^{-27}=287.24\times 10^{-28}kg

So total mass on the system =287.24\times 10^{-28}+1.365\times 10^{-28}=288.605\times 10^{-28}kg

An iron rod and a copper rod of equal length are each held by hand at one end, with the other end in the flame from a Bunsen bur
lara31 [8.8K]

Answer:

Iron has a higher heat capacity than copper

Explanation:

The heat capacity of a substance is defined as the amount of heat required to raise the temperature of an object by 1°C.

The higher the heat capacity of a substance, the longer the time it takes for the substance to become hot when heated.

Since the copper rod becomes too hot to hold much sooner than the iron rod, it means that iron has a higher heat capacity than copper.

<span>Answer: A. Exercising above your target heart rate.</span>

The individual's current level of fitness depends on the amount of exercise needed. I would advise my friend to exercise above her/his target heart rate to help improve her/his cardiovascular endurance for an individual has genetically the capacity to adapt to training, his or her fitness goals, and to the component being developed such as improve cardiovascular endurance.

<span>In addition, if my friend is exercising with in or below her/his target heart rate, her/his goal will not be achieve because her/his stamina and strength will not increase. If she/he will like to improve her/his cardiovascular endurance, a gradual increase in her/his workouts must be done.  Therefore, she/he must exercise above her/his target heart rate.</span>

A ceiling fan is turned on and reaches an angular speed of 120 rev/min in 20 s. It is then turned off and coasts to a stop in an
Ilya [14]

Answer:

option D

Explanation:

given,

angular speed of the fan = 120 rev/min

time = 20 sec

After 40 s fan comes to rest

ration angular acceleration of the first 20 s to last 40 s.

angular acceleration for first 20 s

\alpha_1= \dfrac{\Delta \omega}{t}

\alpha_1= \dfrac{120}{20}

\alpha_1=6 rev/s^2

for last 40 s

\alpha_2= \dfrac{\Delta \omega}{t}

\alpha_2= \dfrac{0-120}{40}

\alpha_2= -3 rev/s^2

now, ratio

\dfrac{\alpha_1}{\alpha_2}=\dfrac{6}{-3}

\dfrac{\alpha_1}{\alpha_2}=-2

hence, the correct answer is option D
