Answer:

Renewable Resources: are considered unlimited, are replaced faster than used.

Nonrenewable Resources: are used more quickly than replaced, have fixed amounts, cannot be replaced in a short time.

Explanation:

Renewable resources are natural resources that are able to naturally regenerate themselves, hence, they are considered to be unlimited. They are usually replaced faster than they are used because they have a short regeneration time. A good example is the solar energy.

Nonrenewable resources are those natural resources that cannot naturally regenerate and when they do, it takes a very long time (usually millions of years). They are therefore used at a much faster rate than they are being replaced and their natural deposits are more or less fixed due to the long regeneration time. A good example is the crude oil deposit.

Hence:

Renewable Resources: are considered unlimited, are replaced faster than used.

Nonrenewable Resources: are used more quickly than replaced, have fixed amounts, cannot be replaced in a short time.

1. 100 C

2. Point B to C is the ices heat capacity

3. During the points D to E the bonds of the water molecules build up enough kinetic energy to break their intermolecular bonds (not intra), which can lead to gas.

4. Between points D and E the energy is being released the energy required is equivalent along the line.

5. Between point E and D the water is converting to water (condensation)

6. Energy is being released 2260 j/g

7. Yes, but only under extreme volumetric pressures

8. D and E or B and C

9. Freezing (the water is also becoming less dense)

10. Melting or if water already, absorbtion of energy

11. released.

Dmitri mendeleev contribution to the periodic table.
Pepsi [2]

In 1871, a Russian Chemist, Dimitri Mendeleev, gave a useful scheme for classification of elements. He presented the first regular periodic table in which elements of similar chemical properties were arranged in eight vertical columns called groups. The horizontal rows of table were called periods. He arranged elements in ascending order of their atomic masses and found that elements having similar chemical properties appeared at regular intervals. This observation was called Periodic Law.

Which one of the following atoms has the largest radius? Ова Осо OCa
RUDIKE [14]

Answer:

Ba

Explanation:

The elements Calcium ( Ca ) and Cobalt ( Co ) , are both present in the same period , and across the period the atomic radius decreases from left to right , since , the atomic number increases , so the electrons increases , which in turns increases the effective nuclear charge , and hence the size decreases ,

Therefore ,

Calcium will have bigger atomic radii as compared to Cobalt .

Now,

The elements Barium ( Ba ) and Calcium ( Ca ) are , both are present in the same group , and down the group , atomic radii increases , since , as going down the group , the atomic number increase , so the shells increases , hence the size increases .

Therefore , the atom with the largest radii is Barium .
