Please explain three ways in which you have used any branch of chemistry in your everyday life. Explain how the five branches of

chemistry can and very often do overlap.
Chemistry

Answer:

Here you have 3 examples of the using of chemistry in our everyday life:

√ When someone uses baking soda and lemon to clean the bathroom. This is an application of organic chemistry since there's an acid-base reaction between the organic acid in the lemon and the baking soda.

√ Creating home-made yogurt is also an example of biochemistry since this is produced due to a fermentation process.

√ All the food we consume daily is produced after a combination of chemical processes: A lot of inorganic, organic and biochemical reactions are performed in the food industries to produce our food.

The last example is also a good way to explain how the five branches of chemistry (Organic, Inorganic, Analytical, Physical and Biochemistry) are related: First we have all of the reactions involved in the production, we also have the analytical procedures to determine, for example, that the concentration of carbon compounds in the water are under the limit level. In the bioreactors (used for beer production, for example) we have a good application of Physical chemistry since all the procedures need to have determined thermodynamical conditions.

Hope this helps!

Formal units are formed by?
cupoosta [38]

Answer:

However, when formal units are used to measure length, the measurement can usually be read from a scale on a ruler or tape, which shows units of a particular size. Unit iteration involves knowledge of repeatedly placing identical tightly packing units so that there are no overlaps or gaps.

What can you summarize about the use of acid-base indicators?
densk [106]

An acid-base indicator is used to identify the presence of an acid or base. These indicators exhibit different colors depending on the solution that they are in. They are especially useful when completing titrations to determine the molarity of an unknown substance and is denoted as option D.

What is Titration?

This is done in the laboratory and involves the slow addition of one solution of a known concentration to a known volume of another solution of unknown concentration.

Acid-base indicators are used to determine the presence of an acid or base in a solution which is based on the colors seen when performing the chemical reaction.

It is used to calculate the the molarity of an unknown substance through the knowledge of the other parameters which is therefore the reason why option D was chosen as the most appropriate choice.
