1.984 \times 10^{-11} \mathrm{N} \text { is the force of gravity exerted on the jar of pickles. }

<u>Explanation</u>:

According to Newton's third law that each force has an equal and opposite reaction force in this case both of the jars will exert the same force an each other

. The force is given by

\mathrm{F}=\frac{G \times M_{1} \times M_{2}}{r^{2}}

Where, F = force, G=\text { gravitational constant }=\left(6.67 \times 10^{-11}\right), mass \left(\mathrm{M}_{1}\right)=0.17 \mathrm{kg}, mass \left M_{2}= 0.31 \mathrm{kg} and Distance(r) = 0.42 m.

Substitute the values in the formula.

\mathrm{F}=\frac{6.67 \times 10^{-11} \times 0.17 \times 0.31}{0.42^{2}}

\mathrm{F}=\frac{3.51 \times 10^{-12}}{0.176}

\mathrm{F}=1.984 \times 10^{-11} \mathrm{N}

\text { The force of gravity exerted on the jar of pickles is } 1.984 \times 10^{-11} \mathrm{N} \text { . }

How does Lenz's Law illustrate the concept that "you can't get
Crazy boy [7]

Answer:

When there is a change in magnetic flux linkage through a loop of wire, an electromotive force is induced in the loop, according to the Faraday-Newmann-Lenz Law:

\epsilon=-\frac{N\Delta \Phi}{\Delta t}

where

N is the number of turns in the loop

\Delta \Phi is the change in magnetic flux through the loop

\Delta t is the time elapsed

The negative sign in the formula represents Lenz's Law, and tells us about the direction of the electromotive force.

In fact, the negative sign means that the direction of the induced emf is such that to oppose to the change in the magnetic flux that originated the induced emf.

This is a consequence of the law of conservation of energy: no energy can be created out of nowhere. In fact, when the emf is induced in the loop, electrical energy appears in the circuit; however, this electric energy cannot come out of nowhere. Instead, it is just "created" from the transformation of some other form of energy (for instance, the mechanical energy that is used to move the loop in the magnetic field, and changing its magnetic flux).

The negative sign in Lenz's Law tells exactly this: the direction of the induced emf is such that it opposes the initial change in magnetic flux that generated the induced emf, so that overall the total energy is conserved.

A small charged sphere is attached to a thread and placed in an electric field. The other end of the thread is anchored so that
VMariaS [17]

Answer:

E = 9.66\times 10^{-6} N/C

direction is Horizontal

Explanation:

As we know that the string is horizontal here

so the tension force in the string is due to electrostatic force on it

now we will have

F = qE

so here the force is tension force on it

F = 6.57 \times 10^{-2} N

Q = 6.80 \times 10^3 C

now we have

6.57 \times 10^{-2} = (6.80 \times 10^3)E

E = 9.66\times 10^{-6} N/C

direction is Horizontal
